Over priced for old sandwiches. Bun was solid and stale on top. Lettuce was wilted and I got stuck with lettuce cores/stalks in both sandwiches. Was supposed to be salami sandwich and there was almost no salami on either sandwich. Less than paper thin cuts of salami that you could literally see through them. Took all salami off one sandwich and put it all on one sandwich and still.waa almost no meat. Far over priced for old stale food

I purchase the sourdough loaf at the bakery. It has great flavour; the loaf is a nice size (not too large) & it’s become a tradition to use the sourdough loaf for Thanksgiving & post-Christmas turkey sandwiches. I purchased the mince tarts this week & they were absolutely delicious. They were not overly sweet, the pastry was crisp & the flavour of the filling was spot on. What a wonderful holiday treat.

I bought a seasonal flavoured cake and a coffee from here. The Happy Birthday writing on the cake was exceptionally well done by the cashier. The coffee was amazing too. I will be back, and have recommended the Italian Bakery to friends and family.

HAD SMALL BUN WITH 1 TINY PIECE OF COTTO HAM 1 PIECE LETTUCE. BUN WAS EXTREMELY DRY WHERE IT JUST FELL APART. THERE WAS NO MAYO OR ANY DRESSING. THEY SAID THERE WAS CHEESE, PESTO MAYO AND RED PEPER. THERE WERE NONE OF THESE ITEMS.$9.99 WOW.!! NEVER WILL I RETURN. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ITALIAN DELI!!!!. IF YOU CANT GET THE BREAD RIGHT, THAN THESE GUYS ARE SHOOTING FROM THE HIP.
Not bad, but also overrated. Food and drinks are fantastic, but pricey. Service is decent, but staff can be impatient when asked questions. It is almost always crowded inside, and there is no parking.

I think that I never give bad grades but yesterday was not good. I bought 2 coffee and a croissant. The machine asked me if I wanted to tip. Not living here I was surprise (no tip where I come from, people have a living wage). I gave 15% and had to get the coffees at the counter and bring them at the table, no napkins, no spoons. WHY do I give a tip then? Next step is that we will have to do the barista ourselves and give a tip? Where are we going?

This bakery is pretty good as far as bakeries go, but I went in the other day and a chocolate croissant was almost ten dollars not including the tax. It’s not ten dollar croissant good, so I won’t be returning. An incredibly small buttercream cake was 40 dollars!! I know the cost of doing business is high for food places, but this feels excessive. Plus the prompt for tip is set to 15% as the lowest, uh no. I’m not giving a 8 dollar tip for bagging pastries.

It was like stepping into the Italian bakeries I grew up with in Toronto. The cakes were exactly the ones I had as a child, too. The owner worked at an Italian bakery in Toronto as well. Pasta is amazing too.
