Bomb af. Had the prime rib sandwich. It was delicious. Absolutely delicious. They changed the television channel so I could watch the NFL draft. Great spot. I would definitely recommend

We had a great dinner experience last night at The Keg in downtown Victoria ? Our waitress Jillian was excellent and wanted to make sure we got the best meal choices and that the prime rib that my husband wanted was prepared as he requested ?They moved us to a view table when became available ?My martini was done to perfection!! My two lobster tails were delicious!! The view over looking the beautiful Victoria Harbour was excellent!!Highly recommend this restaurantWill be back again soon

I go to the Keg about once/year as that is about all we can afford. We went there last night for our once/year splurge. It was the worst food I ever had. I got the steak and lobster (ordered 6 oz steak medium). The steak was so dry and overcooked I could hardly swallow it. It was charred and burnt tasting on the outside with a ton of pepper. The lobster was tiny and dried out around the edges and rubbery. The broccoli was cold and raw. The butter for the lobster was way over salted and I couldn’t use it. The only good thing on the plate was the potato. All this for $57/plate. Very disappointed. It sad because I was really looking forward to this special dinner. The service was ok.

Last night in town, ate at the Fort Street Keg in Victoria and the meal was terrible. Ordered the Prime rib, medium, received blue rare/raw, was complimented with an ice cold baked potato and cold greasy deep fried onions. Other patrons were complaining about their meals while we were waiting for ours. Something very wrong at this location, many good places to eat in downtown Victoria, this is not one of them!

This was one of the best Keg visits I have had in a long time. No complaints, quick service and a good piece of meat. The peppercorn sauce was outstanding. Our server was attentive and prompt.

Always a great experience. Except parking. Take an Uber for the love of God! Friendly service the best lobster I've ever had. You always feel welcome when there.

My daughter took me out to celebrate my birthday. We went to our usual place - The Keg for dinner on Mar 6.It is completely an unpleasant experience compared to our previous lovely and warming experiences. The appetizers - Caesar brussel sprout is good. Crispy cauliflower is NOT crispy at all. It sits in a pool of oil.Our dinner - prime rib 18oz.is colder than usual. The crispy onion is very soggy, and the kitchen manager came and explained because they changed the oil. So… !! when they change the oil, the customers deserve to have oily and soggy food. Isn’t there a quality control for their food? The server is simply very slow, and it is not busy at all. It takes her a while to come around and clean our table. We were having our dinner with the empty appt plates on the table. All in all, the experience was terrible.

Wow, my wife and I just returned from her birthday dinner. Food was perfectly cooked and excellently presented. I maintain that the service makes the meal and what keeps you going back, we were well looked after by Mason! Young man is a super star knows his stuff, happy to accomodate requests all with a smile on his face.Parking: Parking in the paid lot is expensive $5 an hour but hey its Victoria

We were a party of 8 that was delayed for our reservation but the staff stepped up and ensured the wait was worth the extra time we waited. Manager, wait staff all very professional and accommodating to the point of providing first round on the house along with a private area for our party size. Thank you thank you

Great family dinner while we visit Victoria. Comet, as our waiter, was helpful & attentive. Food was very tasty for the most part. Vegan meatloaf was not a hit w/my nephew but generally these types of "substitute" dishes are hit & miss. My sister in law had the pork chop special and thoroughly enjoyed it...my son's rib in prime steak was "lights out" amazing and my husband's roast chicken is his favourite non steak meal when he has it! My other so. was celebrating his birthday and loved everything he had including the cheesecake he couldn't finish! Will be back again! Thank you to all the staff!

Have been going to the Keg for 30 years now. Recently the cost of steaks has gone up immensely with most steaks costing over $50 now. Very expensive for a family of four to eat, so we only go on very special occasions now. I opted out of a steak dinner because of the price, but my 17 year old son had the Teriyaki sirloin, and unfortunately it was very chewy and he barely ate half. This is a teen who normally doesn't get full. He didn't mention that his steak was hard to chew till we were almost done otherwise I would tell the server. My husband had the baseball sirloin and he enjoyed it. My younger son had the burger and he did not like it, it was plain and dry. As for myself I had the crab cakes and French onion soup. Both good, nothing extraordinary. My blackberry daquiri was delicious. Our server was very nice and we were happy with our service.

I went with a close friend and we thought we had a quiet table until I heard loud swearing and an argument between two drunk people. The staff handled the situation like true professionals and made everything right by adjusting our bill and giving us some free dessert! I felt that I was treated like a celebrity and the bad taste of dealing with boorish and belligerent drunk's disappeared .Bravo!
