It was a quiet night and my brother and I were craving butter chicken. Him the poutine version with extra butter chicken and me the standard with naan and fried pickles. Our server was awesome she was hilarious and it was welcome and I was so happy to receive it. The best part of the night - there was this table practically screaming their conversations, I mean they were seat at the far side of the room and we could hear everything they were saying. RUDE- I was getting annoyed and at the very same moment the music turned up. I felt heard! It was magical which added to my experience!

The Mint is the place to be for dinner and a show in Victoria. Good for dates. Tickets for events are affordable and often go to charity.
Open Mic nights are my favorite. Had an amazing time at Commie Bop. The local songs and poems were fun and care free.
Mainly for a more liberal audience but theres events for everyone.
Nachos with pulled pork was huge. My mimosa was spot on. I enjoyed.

I took my girlfriend to the Dylan Williams show last night 2/2/2026 and was quite disappointed. Dylan was very very soft spoken and I just could not connect the dots on his jokes due to not hearing them. At first, I thought it was me since i do have some hearing impediment; but, my girlfriend who has great hearing, said the exact same thing. And I didn't have a difficult time with the warm up comedians. So, given the price of these tickets, I really felt like it was money not well spent. Hope this feedback leads to improvements in Dylan's comedy act!

Really nice place to have food and drinks late night until 2 pm, decemt place to have drinks and food which is ethnicity of neplaice and Indian food ....Servrrs are really good they know what you wanted, no language barrier....please see stephenie my server really hospitable person ...

The worst Dine Around of 2026! The place - dive bar feel upon walking in. Only a few tables around because they moved the majority next door for the comedy club. I wanted to turn around and leave. The service - had to ask for the dine around menu; water cup was NEVER refilled; finished dishes were removed ONLY upon request; no mention of additional charges for naan when offered, very misleading as the meal came with them. We did not even touch them and only found out on the bill they were extra. The food - edible but nothing worth mentioning. So much so that the leftovers we boxed were left for a homeless person. The value - for a $45 dinner, it would have been worth it based on reading the menu. Overall - NO Star if I could help it. Not sure how they have been in business for 20 years as claimed on their website.

45 minutes before we were supposed to arrive we were called stating that they had overbooked the dining room and would be be OK to go into the Next room where there was a magic show. We agreed to this, but would rather have booked another evening. The service was incredibly poor and then our curry was so hot. We couldn't eat it. They seated another couple at our table as they had run out of room. Overall, not impressed at all.

The place has a good echo, so hearing the staff speaking about you is weird . Since I've never met anyone here at any time I may look like someone else.
Love a place that hires a DJ specifically so… nobody can dance? I was told dancing wasn’t allowed, which was already ridiculous enough. But then the DJ jumps on the floor and dances with a guest right after. Make it make sense.

Great spot for comedy with a warm atmosphere. However, a few things could be better: they often seat you at wobbly tables, and if you enjoy a standard pint of beer, this isn't the place. They only serve smaller glasses, but their prices are comparable to a full pint. Have also been served flat beer a few times.
