Quality pub in saanich, one of the last few left.
Nice waiter, i wasn't expecting music bingo but hey this type of stuff makes life fun, cool pub
Always good!
Server Brian is excellent! Attentive, friendly and quick.
Always a good time and great service 👌🏾
The food is solid, the staff are wonderful. But the prices are insane. $15 for yam fries? Everything is incredibly expensive, more so than other pubs and restaurants. The kicker for me though is that I was charged 75 cents for my pop refill. I was not told about this when I ordered and the original pop had so much ice. I had also ordered alcoholic drinks and food, so it’s not like I was sitting drinking pop all night.
Terrible experience marked by racism and xenophobia from the staff. First, I tried to enter the pub with my girlfriend, but the hostess refused to let us in, claiming we needed two forms of identification each. We showed her our IDs and a credit card each, but according to her, one of the cards wasn't acceptable as verification, even though the name and surname were clearly legible. She admitted it was readable but still raised her voice and didn’t allow us to respond, insisting the name had to be "perfect" and that a slightly worn card wasn’t enough. What made this even more frustrating was that the hostess was not asking Canadian citizens for two forms of identification, only foreigners like us, who are Latinos. We also noticed that she refused entry to an Indian couple for the same reason, yet Canadians were not subjected to such scrutiny. Aggressively, the bartender approached us after I explained the situation, and he sided with the hostess, telling us we had to leave. We went back to our home to get an additional ID and returned. The hostess then told us we would have to wait 30 minutes for a table. When I asked if we could sit at the bar, she said yes, but she didn’t offer that option initially. At the bar, her friend, the bartender, kept staring at us with hatred. He would come near us, slam the counter, or shout into the air as if trying to bother us. We stayed at the bar for about two hours. At one point, I went to the restroom, and when I returned, the bartender sarcastically handed us the bill with a cheerful "How’s it going, guys?" We thought it was standard, despite having just ordered another beer. We paid (without leaving a tip), but then a woman claiming to be the manager approached us and told us we had to leave. When I asked why, she said I had pushed the hostess when I went to the restroom, which never happened. She claimed the bartender, who had just handed us the bill politely moments earlier (clearly angling for a tip), had seen it happen. I confronted him, saying that was impossible, and he went crazy, shouting while the "manager" just stood there watching. My girlfriend called him a racist, and he almost proudly replied, "And what about it?" We left after another customer recommended we avoid trouble with those people. Now I understand why. If you're a foreigner or not racist, don’t come to this place. Canadians are known for being inclusive, but this establishment does not represent that spirit at all.

My friends and I came on a busy night and your staff were able to accommodate us and get us seated. One member of our group (who most of us had not met before) turned out to be a challenging guest to say the least. I'm embarrassed for his behavior and the fact that our server, Bella, had to put up with him. However, she handled him with professionalism and care, and despite his drunken protestations, she insisted that he took the ride home that he had been offered by another member of our party and thanks to her help, we were able to make sure he did. Anyway, thanks for the great service and my apologies for our companion's behavior. Your establishment has some great staff who take their jobs seriously.

I was ripped off! The menu said nachos for $28 and $6 to add on spicy beef. I asked the waitress if they do half orders of nachos. She said yes, they do. When the bill came, I was charged $20 for the nachos and $8 for the spicy beef. Does that makes sense to you? Not only did they charge me double for the beef but somehow they manage to add onto two dollars as well. Plus, I definitely wasn’t charged half price for the nachos. After complaining to the waitress that not only was I not charged half price for the nachos and the side of beef, I was charged two dollars more than what a full order of beef normally cost. The total for my half order of nachos came to $28. I could’ve had a steak for that price I would’ve never ordered the nachos if I knew that they were going to end up costing me that much.

I decided to try this place out today. I got the burrito. I likely didn't read the ingredients correctly. They put lettuce in their burrito. Really? Who does this? They baked the burrito to crisp it also. Who does this. Paying over $20 for a burrito for it to be filled with slime is repulsive. Their menu seems good, but I wouldn't trust it. Who knows what else they fundamentally lack an understanding in.

$3.75 for a pop that's more than half ice and a 1.50 for a refill. It understand prices are up everywhere, but that puts a bad tastes in my mouth and why I go here less and less frequently. $16 for wings for a special isn't very special, and $28 for nachos without anything extra is steep.
