Amazing brunch, great service & wonderful staff 😍
This restaurant combines a breakfast joint (served until 4pm), classic pub fare (hamburgers, salads, soup, wraps) with an English inspired tea service after 2pm. It's busy and the service is casual but attentive.
Had the fried liver. Great portions and flavour.
Also had the mushroom penne, pretty mid flavor
Out of daily special, waitress not very attentive. Food was ok
Best food. Best prices. Kid friendly. Love it here!
The Oaks is my favorite restaurant. Lots of elderly, but they know quality.
The food was okay but nothing special. Got the Eggs Benedict and Hashbrowns.
Service wasn't very good. They were busy setting up for an event, so I get that the server was a bit preoccupied. However, she wasn't very friendly. She also never refilled my water and only came back to our table one time after ordering... I even had to go and ask for the bill after waiting for 15 minutes.
The thing that makes this place worth visiting is the amazing historic building. Really cool spot. However, now that I've seen it, I probably wouldn't spend my money here again.
Went for late breakfast. Excellent service and great food!
Yeah, Oak Bay’s oldest building all right that was the dirtiest place. I’ve been in in a long time. The food wasn’t very good. I won’t be yeah that’s crazy. going back.
Great time in the historic Oaks Restaurant..The service was spot on even when it's busy the menu covered all the bases ...and we discovered they are open early for breakfast...and the ocean views are spectacular.

Got in at last minute before the reservation crowd. Everything as fine. Staff v accommodating but really busy once it got full. Thefood was fine but not stellar
I wanted fish and chips. The chips were great. The battered fish was over deep fried... too flaky crispy. They took too long to bring my icecream for Mr apple crumble...which by the way was very nice. But I like it w ice cream melting. So, four stars but, i have heard it's usually a great place to go. Will give it another try.

The room was beautiful and festive looking out through French panel windows onto the magical decor of Christmas in Oak Bay
The chicken burger was a beautiful moist chicken breast.

Walked in and read the sign sit down at a open table, did so and was chastised for doing so, being told that the lunch hour will be coming in and that I will have to move. No lunch rush came in.
Popular neighbourhood restaurant. It’s not a fancy place, but the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Down to earth, always friendly service, great for coffee, enjoyable food, a very popular meeting place for Oak Bay-ites.
