The Rose - neighbourhood public house

Just driving around. Looking for somewhere to eat in a hurry and came across this wonderful establishment. Both my girlfriend and I were blown away by the good food, the accommodating, her dietary needs and the friendly staff! We don't live around here but come down every couple of weeks and we'll try to make this a regular stop on our adventures!

Ok, I’ll save my 5 star review for every other aspect of The Rose for another post. But it must be made known: the Westshore has a true Mixologist, and his name is Mackenzie (I hope I spelled that right)! This guy knows what he’s doing behind the bar. Between my wife and myself, we have had many different creations that either Mackenzie has suggested or we’ve requested. He’s nailed every one. If you’re a margarita fan, this is your spot, whether it’s the classic marg or one of the many variations that Mackenzie will create for you. Most times I just have him decide. Cheers, Mackenzie!

I got the smoked chowder and it was delicious! Partner got the smash burger and he equally enjoyed his food. Would recommend. Would come again!

Great food and service. Nice outside grassy area for relaxing and enjoying the food. A little pricey for a pub, but you get what you pay for. No complaints.

Amazing place! Food was fantastic, service was prompt, our server was wonderful, and we sat in the garden - which was stunning. We were visiting from Prince George and will visit here again when we come next time!

Excellent food and lots of rotating features which I love… back garden patio is something special in summertime ☀️not many vibes to rival that in Langford

The food is so overpriced! For what you get!! How is this a neighborhood friendly pub with obnoxious overpriced mediocre food. Service is lovely, very kind people, atmosphere is great....But $27.00 salads???? That are small! How can you charge this for the plate I got lol.
Save your money, and just go for drinks.
