I ordered the Açai bowl. There was no Açai in the bowl. It was yogurt, berries, banana, granola and banana. So it was a parfait, it was good but needed the Açai. I was too shy to say anything at the time. But any Açai bowl I’ve had always had Açai.

Went here with my mom twice while we were staying at Hotel Zed. The first morning we had an amazing omelette, I eat healthy so I was able to pick what I wanted in my omelette which was on the menu. The second morning my mom and I had the berry waffles which were to die for. The waffles were so puffy you just had to put the knife through it once and it cut right through (now that's what I call homemade). They had a strawberry puree that I dipped my waffles in that was so good. The service was amazing and I ended up buying a Ruby mug to take home. Will definitely be coming back for more food there. Check it out because it's worth it.

Great food. I almost went to the the wrong washroom due to the confusing signage. Can put people in an awkward situation I wouldn't want to be using the washroom in an uncomfortable manner due to the signage.

What an outstanding breakfast spot! The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food came quickly and hot!
The breakfast poutine was delicious and a HUGE portion. I'm a big eater, and I had to take some away still.
The duck hash was also very sizeable in portion and had very good flavour.
They also have their own in-house hot sauces, while I didn't find them spicy. I do think they had a very good taste and were very enjoyable !
If we come back to Victoria again, we will definitely stop by The Ruby again!

Food was absolutely awesome. Waitress was good. Host/floor manager very rude. Called me by wrong gender and argued with me when I politely corrected her. Love eating at this restaurant and do it often, but doubt I will be back.

Awesome food and wonderful service. I thought we got a photo of the duck confit and waffles but didn't (was yummy though). Our little one's request was honored (so happy).
I ordered a bagel and smoked salmon with egg and cup of fresh fruit. They forgot to put the smoked salmon with the order. I called them multiple times to give them the opportunity to correct their mistake but no one answered the call. Bad service and unprofessional. Look at the video to see how this 25$ order looks so awful! Avoid at all cost.
