Hands down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to. Service was spectacular, staff was super friendly, restaurant was clean despite it being packed on a Sunday. Good came quickly and was fresh and flavourful, and the portions were huge so come with an appetite!!

Absolutely disappointing!! The service was terrible and the food was awful! There was 5 of us and all of us were so disappointed with our meals. Two of us felt sick afterward! Such an expensive place and was expecting quality food! Stay away!!

The Ruby On Johnson in downtown Victoria was a great find. We enjoyed listening to vinyl records and enjoying a delicious Sunday morning breakfast. A great bright restaurant with friendly staff. Great menu and offerings. Recommended

Must visit breakfast spot in Victoria. The food was really good and very filling. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. The Ruby is a great place for breakfast with a cozy vibe and friendly service. Would definitely come back.

I really want to try their breakfast but we were not seated.
We were waiting for 10 minutes and waiting for someone to approach us and tell us about waiting time etc., since it’s really full and busy that time. I’m pretty sure that there’s at least 4-5 staff that saw us waiting there and none of them approached us. The host/server was just going back and forth from the hotel guests, but never said word to us.

Great service, very friendly staff. Ordered vegan Bennie and unfortunately was disappointed and couldn’t finish. I think it’s hard for non-vegan chefs to make vegan food, so keep it simple and have some taste testers. The whipped tofu was not good, and the white ”hollandaise” was not recognizable. I wouldn’t recommend that dish for vegans.
