Nice chilled breakfast vibes, great drop coffee that just keeps coming and α delicious smoked salmon cream cheese bagel, although some self-assembly was required, (see photo). The service was good and prompt to get a table and place an order, but I felt like she was rushing me the whole time, kept asking if she could take my plate while I was still eating, and just brought me my bill without asking if I wanted anything else. Apart from that though, a pleasant experience.

Service is top notch at this place. Servers are polite and friendly. Food portions are big and good. The place can get a bit loud, when there are a lot of people and people like to eat here..

I have been challenging myself to explore new places a try new food to escape my rut. On my walk today I reminded myself about this place. I’ve been here before but it’s been a while. This place is popular, a waiting list for groups but since I was by myself I was seated at the bar. Staff were friendly and busy, it was a full house with a growing number waiting.

I ordered a Brisket Benny on a croissant. I opened up my book to jot down a few thought and my food appeared. Looked and smelled amazing. It tasted amazing too. Meat melted in my mouth with the buttery croissant. Sauces of the hollandaise and the bbq sauce together were beautiful. I could not put my fork down. Hash browns were a touch too salty but not enough to ruin my experience. I enjoyed myself.

The service is fantastic. Staff is very friendly. They just launched a new menu. We tried the blueberry, Brie and bacon waffles. On the surface it seemed like an odd combination. But the waffles are cooked to perfection and the flavors blended extremely well. My wife had the new vegan breakfast tacos. The tofu scramble was perfectly seasoned and the guacamole was amazing. We also had their chicken and waffles. The seasoning on the chicken is wonderful and once again they have the most amazing waffles. I am also not a big gravy person but the chicken gravy is on the lighter side with great flavor..

I want to application as a pictures. Online. The food looked great. When I got there, I realize that everything had chicken and nugs like it was supposed to.
We ended up, ordered some pancakes, some fried chicken that came with some corn bread, and a quesadilla .
Food was good. It was different.
My husband liked the pecan waffles. Portions were okay.
You can also order a half portion if you want.
We bathrooms you use the best western bathroom that you go to the doors to the left. The best western bathroom was out of soap completely, and both sings. Add awesome to Resort. The soap, and then one was restocked. So I don’t know how I feel about that for a restaurant being included or next-door or however, they did it.

The food is okay, but the server was incredibly inattentive and when taking my order said, “and you, guy?” It’s disrespectful to refer to someone you don’t know as, “guy”, let alone serve soggy waffles and not bring drinks to us and charge us for them.

The hollandaise sauce tastes sour. Too much dijon mustard or lemon juice ? I tolerated it because the lady in the bar is very nice.

Disappointed with the massive line up at Jam down the street but we were determined to find an equivalent breaky nook. Stumbled upon the Ruby by accident AND surprisingly were seated right away. Sure it’s not the groovy eclectic place the Jam is but the food was better than or equal to. Servers friendly, helpful and respectful. Despite being very busy our food arrived quickly and hot. Bacon extra crispy as requested. While this might not be the place you’d sit around drinking coffee for an hour I’d highly recommend it for the delicious food and service. Well done Ruby! Like the coffee mugs so much bought two. Carry on Ruby!!

Service was great but the food is hit or miss. My blackberry London fog was amazing, but the hollandaise sauce was not good. It was basically just a lump of butter and ruined the dish. Fried chicken was tasty but the gravy didn’t have a ton of flavour, so not a consistent standard for dishes.

Came here for breakfast while In town. First off, the atmosphere here is amazing. As soon as you walk in there are records and just over all good / cool vibes. I ordered the lavender lemonade to start and it was a mix of soda and lemonade, it was quite refreshing. For my meal I ordered the breakfast poutine . The portion was decently sized and had a great mix of flavors. If you are in town for breakfast I would highly recommend this spot.
