The food and the service was good. The chairs couldn't be more uncomfortable. I know restaurants don't want you to hang around too long, but seriously.

Best boneless wings I've ever tried! Literally it's all I think about lol...UPDATE: They sadly changed the recipe for the wings :( They have lost the crunch and flavor which is very disappointing to say the least. I wont be ordering wings from here again unless, they bring back the old recipe.However, the new owners have introduced some amazing new food items such as the crispy Brussel sprouts which are to die for.Thier new recipe for the Shaft is incredible and the best we've had in a long time...or maybe ever.The Chef / owner took the time to come chat with us which was pleasantly surprising. He explained the changes that were made to the wing recipe..... and it makes perfect sense from an efficiency standpoint.It is very obvious he is very knowelgable and he and his partner are passionate about what they do and put a great deal of thought and care into creating the new menu.They have some new exciting items being introduced like sous vide steak sandwiches.The service today was stellar and we were made to feel appreciated and valued as patrons.All that being said PLEASE ? make it work to bring back the old recipe for boneless wings so Tartan Toque can coninue to be our go to spot.

Came here for wing night and the blue cheese dip was the best part of the night!Definitely recommend! The jerk dry rub slaps but the Thai sauce does not do justice.The new renovations are super nice, deff go check it out!

Recently sat down at the Tartan Toque for lunch and was blown away by the quality of food. There were some good menu options and the house salad was quite memorable. Brendan (head chef, owner) even came out to check in on us and you can tell that he not only enjoys his craft, but loves it. He was very charming and seems like his passion and delightful personality are contagious as the rest of the staff were wonderful to deal with as well. I'd give 6 stars if I could and we will definitely be back again soon.

The new aesthetic is nice, but I absolutely miss the old look, it felt so much more fun and homey. I hope they take steps to bring some of that friendly quirk in the design. Burgers are still insanely delicious.
Staff seemed to understand Celiac, deep fryer was completely gluten-free. Quite impressed for a cute, neighborhood eatery.
