Our first time at the royal oak location for brunch was an excellent decision before an afternoon concert up in Central Saanich. We ordered and shared the sunwing hash with portobello mushrooms and the hot henny chicken with a black bean soup of the day. Outstanding choices that we really enjoyed sharing for lunch along with a Mocha latte and a fall fog. A biscotti each included as a nice touch.

Potato must be completely cooked to avoid eatin RAW hash browns.
But these potatoes were raw, Not thoroughly cooked. The breakfast was good and would have been perfect if potatoes were cooked soft.
Most people who order Hash browns expect Cooked Potato. Eggs were excellent salmon excellent, mocha excellent . Atmosphere was nice not fancy nice. Service ok.

We've been coming here for years. The service is excellent, Miranda and the rest of the servers are friendly and attentive. The menu is not huge, which does not matter, as everything is consistently flavourful and excellently prepared. Many variations are available, I've never been disappointed. Well done!!
