Delicious food and incredible Chai. The two people who own it and work there are lovely and the interior is darling.

YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!! Visited this hidden gem during a recent trip to Victoria in Mar’24. Staff is super friendly, food is amazing and vibe is super chill! Group of 9, we ordered chai, beer, kale and onion rings x 2, veg. fried rice, veg thukpa x 2, chicken thukpa, veg momos, chicken momos, veg noodles x 2, shrimp shepta, gulab jamun. Dishes are reasonably priced. This is a must try for everyone!! I’ll be visiting Victoria again just to dine at this restaurant!

It’s just too expensive for what it is.The food was good, the portions are way too small, and the prices are just too high for little portion of somewhat simple, quick and basic recipes. We ordered Veg Shapta. It barely had 4 leaves of baby spinach and some chopped veg, piece or 2 of tofu on hardly a handful of basic boiled noodles.. I am 5’6, 160 lbs middle aged man, not a very big eater. This was a far cry for a full meal for an 18CAD dish. I ate a slice of pizza after my lunch.

Very bland and very much overpriced for both the serving size as well as the ingredients used. Would not recommend.

Great little hole in the wall in Downtown Victoria. Not the longest menu in the world, but everything was delicious. Service was reasonably prompt, especially considering there was one lady waiting all the tables and running the till, with one other running the kitchen. Would definitely recommend giving this a try over the glut of pubs and "new American" joints downtown.

will come back! delicious curry (plant based/cashew). excellent for vegetarian and vegan food, gluten free options. calming atmosphere. might be nice to have a bottle of water to top up glasses at the table :) friendly staff, won’t come by your table to ‘check in’ which i liked, just to serve/clear dishesVegetarian options: flavourful, well spiced, warm and comfortingDietary restrictions: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free optionsWheelchair accessibility: small restaurant, no stairs to access

A delightful place for lunch. Tucked away a few blocks from Empress Hotel this is a great little spot with plenty of great lunch choices for vegetarians and meat eaters. We were there midweek and it was crowded with people who seemed to be regulars. You feel like you could be somewhere other than BC and that is a marvelous experience at an ethnic restaurant too many owners miss. They serve fresh foods many locally sourced and generous portions. They have lunch specials making it a great place to meet friends on a budget. It is welcoming, tasty, small and clean. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious. We had Momos, the handmade noodle soup, and the lamb curry. Our children loved it too.

Returning after 10 years to find this charming eaterie is still very special. Wholesome, uniquely Tibetan foods. The curries combined with brown rice and small breads were both excellent. Thank you!Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices.
