Oh wow, this just became my favourite cafe in the city—hands down. If the super great used book selection and array of African and West Asian vinyl (new and OP) wasn’t an indication this place is run by some wickedly cool people, the excellent coffee and food selection would still make this place marvelous and quite special.
We got apple cider, a latte, the orange-pumpkin tart and some savory bites and we got two books and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks for being cool Torch Song!

I can't say enough good things about the chef at @torch_song_cafe . The plates are amazingly created with complimentary flavours that tickle the tastebuds, using fresh and homemade ingredients. I eat here frequently and try to regularly go through as many of the menu items as I possibly can.
Up on the block today are the halloumi, and ham and apple sandwiches. So satisfying and delicious.
