Such a cozy and inviting environment! Super delicious Trinidadian food, if you’re craving that Caribbean type of food this is the right place! It was so flavourful and exactly hit the spot and I’m Guyanese! The buss up shut was so soft and fluffy and the goat curry had the right amount of spice! Keep in mind the doubles sell out super fast! So be sure to come early or always call ahead to pre order! Will definitely come back here again, highly recommend checking this place out for a quick bite! They feel just like home with their food!
I have a friend who recommended this place and was very hopeful that I could finally find a good roti spot in Victoria. How disappointed I was! The roti’s are very bland and one note. They’re too heavy on carbs and too light on protein and just completely tasteless overall. I bought roti’s for my entire family and across-the-board everyone says the same… No, thank you to buying these again. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very clinical and off-putting to sit in. I would not recommend!

After a long flight, my son and I needed a quick and tasty fuel-up and TTDB did not disappoint! A warm welcome and authentic flavours. It's a quick detour if you are going from the Victoria airport to downtown or if you are headed from the airport to points north. Steak roti and chicken roti both excellent. Medium spicy was the right spice level for us and we like spicy food.

In a bit of a weird location, but definitely worth the trip. I work abroad with a ton of Trini guys so I’m happy to find a proper Caribbean spot close to home. Chicken roti was *chefs kiss*
