In my school years I love the yam fries with chipotle from Felicitas and UClub. Menu selection for the latter venue seems static across the years hence when informed that there’s something new, I dashed to the phone to make a reservation.The experience this Wednesday at lunch in the main dinning room didn’t disappoint. In fact a delighted time. Special menu item chicken breast covered in tarragon sauce with mashed potato, mushrooms, and veggies on the side is one Ill recommend...
Attending a wedding reception here, and while the building is nice and the setting is beautiful, there are some cons. The bar is quite separated from the dining and dancing area and the bartenders weren't very friendly. The pond is cool however there isn't a railing or chain/rope to prevent anyone from falling in which made it a little stressful with kids running around and older guests who have mobility issues.
A hidden gem in Saanich. Great food and staff. Wonderful place to visit with friends. In the summer we love to sit on the patio by the pond. In the winter we love to sit in the cosy lounge and relax.
