Don't come here for gelato, or icecream is so bad that they don't do sampling.
Plenty of other great places near by.
Not good ice cream
Walking into the Victoria Ice Cream & Fudge Factory feels like stepping into a little slice of indulgence. The smell of freshly made fudge and the sight of colorful ice creams instantly puts you in the mood for a treat. Honestly, I was too busy enjoying everything to even take pictures, which says a lot about how good it was.

- The ice cream case is loaded with flavors for every tasteâfrom rich chocolates to fruity and lighter options.
- Portions are generous, and the texture is smooth and creamy.

â Overall:
The Victoria Ice Cream & Fudge Factory is the kind of place you donât forget. The ice cream is creamy, the fudge is indulgent, and the vibe is cheerful. I enjoyed it so much I completely forgot to take picturesâproof that itâs worth every bite. If youâre in Victoria and craving something sweet, this shop is a must-stop.
We haven't tried the fudge we bought yet but the ice cream was way better than average, coming from people who eat quite a bit of it. Belgian chocolate was excellent. They also had a special, refrigerated desert bar which is locally made. It had a layer of sweet cream, a layer of chocolate, and some kind of rich, cheey chocolatey layer with a but of coconut. This thing was heaven but we can't remember what it was called. Never had anything quite like it anywhere.
Over $8 for a single scoop. No samples allowed!! The staff were nice, so this is clearly a policy/management issue. Ice cream shops should be fun and cheery, but here, you roll the dice on an $8 cup of ice cream and it may or may not be what youâre looking for. Just give people samples. Sheesh.
Also, the ice cream wasnât that greatâŠ
No samples. Overpriced. Charged $8 for a kids cup ice cream that had terrible taste. Threw it all in trash in front of the staff and they didnât even offer to make it right.
Watery ice cream and very expensive for what we got. Wouldn't go again.
Zero stars!
Terrible service.
No sample tastes
SO overpriced, $7.50 + tax for a tiny scoop and machine prompted for a tip. Not sure what I would be tipping for.
Sign saying price reflects supporting local business and staff wages, how about quality ice cream and fair portions.
Lemonade Gelato was terrible. Basically shaved ice with a smidge of fake lemon flavour
Many other choices downtown, pick another spot.
Do better Victoria Ice Cream & Fudgr Factory!
Great gellato!
They would not give an empty cup so that my niece (a chid) could have some of my two scoops of sorbet. She said âSorry but I canât do that.â
We had tipped them 20% too and they didn't show gratitude or kindness. We do not recommend going here.

To start with shop assistant said it was gelato - it definitely wasnât gelato - I had maple pecan and there were ice crystals in it and the pecans were rancid. I threw most of it away.
The assistant was quite rude when I asked to taste one of the flavours before choosing. Every gelato shop Iâve ever been to allows you to taste:
Would highly recommend NOT wasting your money here - thereâs plenty of authentic and delicious ice cream or gelato shops to choose from.
Just went here yesterday when we were on a cruise that finished with Victoria. We were so disappointed in the customer service. The employees were not helpful at all. Skip this place not worth it. Very pricey!
We had Belgian chocolate and coconut flavours. They were good but you had to rely on their description and your gut feeling. They did not allow taste test.
The employees are nice. They offer many flavours but you can't taste test. We got the tiramisu ice cream since that's a safe and easy option. It tasted NOTHING like tiramisu. The primary flavours are marzipan and cream. You don't even taste the coffee. It's advertised as gelato but it's definitely more ice cream. The ice cream is quite expensive as well at $8 and the size is below average. I think this is the worst ice cream I've ever had. Nothing puts you in a worse mood than bad ice cream.
I wouldn't return and would try out another ice cream business in the area since there are so many.
