This place is a hidden gem.
We have been wanting to go for a long time but just never got around to going. Now that we have gone, we are already planning our next meal.
The ambiance is bright, cheery and clean. Service was quick and responsive.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Like cozy comfort food. We ordered gyozas to share ( crispy, juicy, umami with a delicious vinegar sauce) and each had the Menchi Katsu ( spicy and cheese). The cheese menchi had an insane cheese pull. The salad was bright with yuzu. The sauces were really good too. And it was such big portions.

Im looking forward to exploring more of their menu.

I stopped in for a takeout lunch at Kazumi and I am still thinking about it. I ordered the Menchi Curry Rice with cheese and it was honestly one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The menchi was so delicious. It is a marinated minced pork patty with chopped onion inside and the onions were cooked down so well that even someone who normally avoids onions would enjoy it. The coating was perfectly crisp and held up the entire walk home without getting soggy, which says everything about how well they package their food.

The cheese inside the menchi was incredible and the curry itself was full of flavour without feeling heavy. Mixing the onsen egg into the curry with the rice created the most comforting, silky texture. I finished every bite.

The shop has that small, hole in the wall charm with genuinely kind service, and you can tell the food is made with so much care. Kazumi is the kind of place you feel excited to support. I will absolutely be back.

It’s already special enough to find a Korean-Japanese fusion katsu restaurant on Vancouver Island, but the taste here is even more refined and unique! Instead of going to an average Korean or Japanese place, I’d strongly recommend coming here! Thank you so much for delicious food!

Always looking for new places to eat whenever I happen to be in Victoria. After a pretty long day we decided for something in the Asian style of food.

Kazumi is tucked away into a cozy little spot in Langford. It has about 14 seats inside and a patio area for the summer months. It's clean and you can smell the deliciousness coming from the kitchen.

We decided to try the Miso soup, Donburi Bulgogi, Pork Gyoza and a 6 peice Karrage original flavour chicken wings.

The wings were double fried giving them a super crunchy, not greasy, texture. The original flavouring was good, but next time I will try something a little more spicy. It came with a small salad which was very tasty.

The Miso soup was not to my liking so you'll have to try it and see.

The Gyoza tasted great! The space that came with it had some zip, so it was a yummy combination. Definitely a order again option.

The Donburi Bulgogi surprised me with a sunny side up egg on the top, which was perfectly cooked. The rest of the Bulgogi was fantastic! The flavour was point, delicious does not do it justice. Certainly a reorder when we're back i town.

It wasn't very busy when we went in so the dishes only took about 15 mins from order to table. The staff pleasant and knowledgeable.

I recommend this restaurant as a must stop by. Parking is at a premium in the area.

I went for lunch with a friend. I don’t remember the dish names, but everything was clean and tasty. It was quiet, so it was nice to talk while eating. The staff and the chef were very friendly.

Came across Kazumi by chance as I was walking by. Service was amazing. I got the Menchi Katsu Curry, for takeout. Outrageously good. The katsu was perfectly crispy and juicy, and the curry was delicious, and thoughfully garnished with a soft egg, green onions, and crispy fried garlic coins. 10/10 even after sitting in the takeout container for 15 minutes. I'll be back!
