Love View St vibes, it has karaoke 4 nights! So many song selections, Fri and Sat are busy but a fun energy. Wednesday Thursdays are good for singing more songs and the hosts are excellent and so is the food.

Love the karaoke and just the place to hang out. I walked up to order my own drink after this guy that said he would buy me one beat me to the bar. So your staff ASSUMED I was with him and wouldn't serve me during and after kicking him out. I met him minutes earlier, but you would never know because you never asked.

I donāt see the point of posting this review. Obviously THE OWNER DOES NOT READ THEM. my friends and I went for karaoke and drinks. Took forever to get any drinks. Place begging for a major renovation. Food was decent. Worst of all they have the worst karaoke from Victoria to Mission. Awful sound system and the worst, deplorable, miserable and rudest DJ. This lady should be banned from hosting. I do hope the owner start listening to their ex customers.

Went to View Street for the open mic last night. I canāt say enough good things about my experience. I was greeted with a smile from Neil and Kelly. The level of talent was surprisingly great! A really nice mix. The crowd was all musicians, and very friendly and welcoming. Great spot for musicians!
From a business perspective, I think adding a wait staff would be great. I believe the increase in sales would more than cover that costā¦..just a thought

Why is the lady running the karaoke so mean? She swore at me for holding the mic in a way she didnāt like. She also made the sound really bad for everyone singing. We were vibing and ready to spread the good timesā¦ but she shut that down and barked at us. I liked the dive bar setting but she is too old a piece of furniture for the place. Sucks :(

What a disappointment! We had high expectations for a fun night of karaoke. The woman in charge did nothing but fiddle with the buttons on the sound board and barked at me when I mentioned we couldnāt hear the singers. Stayed for one drink and left to find a happier place. We will not return.

come here if you like to wait around for hours to take a turn at karaoke, if youāre ok with waiting minimum 20 minutes to get a drink, and if you can put up with the witch of a Ā«Ā djĀ Ā» telling you how to stand sing and breathe! itās a shame itās the only spot in town.
Went to view street social with family and friends and what a disappointment. The place is a dive and there in no table service with only one bartender - so getting drinks can easily take 20 minutes or longer. The woman who either manages or owns it stands on stage continually adjusting the audio on a soundboard for no apparent reason other than to drown out the singerās voice. One member of our group started to sing but the woman cut him off midway through the song telling him he was ācuppingā the microphone. What a ridiculous way to run a karaoke bar. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.

During my times there (predominantly karaoke nights) I find the staffing there absolutely lacking since there is only one bartender for the entire night, and when it gets busy, it gets really busy. Itās unfair for the bartender who gets overworked and itās unfair for customers who had to wait for a long time just to get a sip of water. The food is very delicious, and the small bag chips are very affordable, so there is that.
