Crab cakes appy were very good as was my steak frites and sticky toffee pudding. My husband had the duck, also very good. Our server was very attentive and also very helpful when I thought I'd lost my earring! Ambience was perfect for the venue. Merci bien!!

Ordered from the Dine Around menu. The food was very tasty and a nice selection to choose from. Ambiance is always nice at Vis a Vis. A slightly larger table for two would be amazing, they are quite small.

Delicious meal and great value with the Dine Around menu. The crab cakes were wonderful and I didn't really need a main after them. The coconut chocolate mousse was amazing. I had salmon Wellington for my main course. I wasn't loving the beet purée that everything sat atop of as it was therefore in every bite and the red everywhere wasn't very appealing. Our cocktails were perfect and my husband had the beef bourguignon which he loved.

We love Vis-a-Vis and have been going there for years. It's our go to for charcuterie and we go there every year for new Years Eve dinner. This year I was ill On NYE so we rescheduled for last night and it was amazing. The food and service was wonderful as per usual. The food is honestly so brilliant. And a lovely ‘face to face' spot!

I always enjoy Vis A Vis and was excited to try the Seafood Platter for 2. The food was tasty, but it it most definitely not enough food for 2 people and most definitely not worth $71. We left hungry.

It's a really nice small venue probably at the top of the scale in Oak Bay Village. You need a reservation!

The food was good. One of the dinners seemed to be kept warm, maybe under a heat lamp, so the lamb shank looked dried. The other 2 dinners looked fine. The atmosphere is warm and cozy.

Our Appetizers and 2 main dishes were very good and the service from the waitress excellent. However, my lamb shank was not good - there was a congealed mass of pasta and the shank was somewhat dry. I did mention my concern to the male waiter who asked us how the dinners were and he asked if I wanted an alternative but by then my friends had almost finished so there was little point in waiting for another option. I would have expected some offer to reduce the bill but nothing further was said so we paid the full bill and left. It seemed odd to me that there was little effort to address the issue.
