The owner's a bit of a jerk, if he doesn't like you he'll deny service.I'd recommend West Coast Waffles, as I've never had a bad experience there and it's only a few blocks away.

We had a delightful after-work outing on a Friday at Wannawafel. The owner ensured that everything on the menu was available for us, making it a great experience overall. The waffles were authentic and delicious!
Some simple health regulation steps such as washing your hands after counting change then handling food needs to be applied. I could not eat, will not return.

I came here today with my dad. We each got a liege waffle with whipped cream. I can honestly say this was the best waffle I’ve had in my lifetime.Not too soft, not too hard or dry, and with a hefty serving of delicious home made whipped cream. It was served on real plates with metal utensils, and the place was run by one very friendly man behind the counter.10/10 will eat here again any time I’m in Victoria.

Thank you for your feedback. If we visit Victoria again, we will stop by and give it another shot. It must be good because there's always a line. It just wasn't my lucky day.We were so excited to try this place and in the morning we headed out. The place was late to open and we got there while the tables were being put out. We ordered and the waffle dough wasn’t ready so we had to go with something else. It was not the best. I make better ones at home. Sadly we were not impressed and I was so excited about going there.
