Had stopped in Victoria from an Alaskan cruise, had a snack here and glad we did. Very nice atmosphere overlooking the water. Nachos were outrageous good as were the parm truffle fries. Cold beer and super service too.

This marks our second visit to Whittle Buoy Brewing Company in Victoria, Canada. We hold this brewery in high regard, owing to its impressive beer selection, which caters to diverse tastes. My husband is particularly fond of their West Coast IPA, while I enjoy their coffee chocolate stout. The interior ambiance is cozy, featuring an assortment of games suitable for families and friends. The outdoor seating area is spacious and ideal for sunny days. The bartenders are consistently friendly and helpful. If you are on a cruise ship, I highly recommend taking a stroll along the waterfront, a distance of approximately 2 miles or a fifty-minute walk, to Whittle Buoy Brewing Company to sample a beer or two and experience the local culture.

Tries several of Whistle Buoy’s craft beers and it was a hit or miss. We enjoyed their sours, but found their IPAs lacking in flavour. Their terrace is pretty nice and the location is great.
The staff were friendly and welcoming as we sampled some beers before ordering. I absolutely loved the ube beer – it was amazing, and I'm even considering coming back every day just for that! The atmosphere was great both during the day and at night. While I can't speak to the other snacks or drinks, the service and the ube beer were definitely fantastic!

This nicely located brewing company has an amazing selection of brewed beers and locally sourced soda’s. Their beers are overall a bit more on the funky side which isn’t my style. Some of them also lacked a bit of depth, but I’m used to the Belgian beers so it’s probably my preference. They have a lovely spot which is really cozy and quiet. I would definitely recommend visiting!

Very unwelcoming experience and serious lack of judgment from the manager. Thankfully, just a few steps away, we had a warm welcome and a real craft beer experience. Roast at Phillips Brewery is a must. Don’t waste your time here.
