Beautiful spot to take you girlfriend on a date or anyone special. If you’re looking for good food, amazing matcha and/or hot chocolate and waffles I recommend this spot. We came here on my girlfriend’s birthday and they gave her a free waffle with whip cream when we left. Unfortunately we forgot to take it but it is with us in spirit.

Not the waffle I was expecting, it was the waffle that had me very pleasantly surprised. Call me crazy, but I found it to be similar to a pretzel, very soft but dense. It wasn't too sweet but sweet enough I didn't want any syrup. Potatoes were perfect, crisp outside, fluffy inside, no ketchup required (blasphemous to some, I know!). Food came out promptly and was presented very nicely. Cortado was rich and exclactly what I wanted. Thank you for the great experience to start the day off right; if we are ever back in town - we will most certainly return.

Went here with friends as reviews are great. Ordered a few dishes including k-bbq Benny and chicken & waffles. Beverages were decent but the liege waffle wasn’t good and soft to eat for a Benny. Server made a mistake which was ok but he was rude when asked to fix his mistake. Everyone on the table didn’t like the food except for the crisp waffles & beverages. Don’t think I will return.

We’ve been coming here since they opened last winter, this is our absolute favourite cafe! Staff is so lovely, service is great, and they have the best matcha in town. We looooove wonderffle and their little seahorse <3

We had a fantastic brunch with a bunch of friends (with a reservation). The food was delicious and coffee/drink selection hit the spot. We tried a variety of sweet and savoury options and all were thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you!

Its as basic as it gets. The service was good. The waffles are undercooked and too doughy. The eggs were too runny even after ordering medium. Sugary watery sauce on salad. This place is sadly overrated. Probably due to the mostly terrible establishments in town. The best of the worst seems to get the google reviews. Also, as everywhere else in Victoria...overpriced and one is forced to tip 18 and up.
