We finally found our favorite Japanese Restaurant. Our family loved it, we had a private room which made it extra special. The food was fresh, the tempura and chicken karage was not greasy and the sushi delicious!

If I can give this company a minus one I definitely would I paid $75 for three small portions received two and no assistance!!!!!! I would love to hear back from somebody? But there’s no way to make a return or file a complaint! So we will make a public and help the others
Came here for the first time, got seated into a room, then waited for 20 minutes and nobody came take my orders or anything so I left. Don't think I'm coming back again

In the past I really enjoyed coming to this restaurant with my family. I had not been for several years and we arrived on New Year's eyve. They lost our reservation. It was annoying that the gaslit us acting like we never made a reservation, however they had room so it was okay. Unfortunately, even though I know it was busy for New Year's Eve, the staff was more interested in filling the delivery orders for food then they were for serving the people in the restaurant. The servers rarely came to the table. The food was mediocre. Some of these sushi tasted a bit fishy. It was unfortunate how dirty the windows were by the booth or how some of the lanterns and things were broken or in a state of disrepair around the booth. The bathroom looked clean enough but they didn't have any paper towel or anything to dry your hands off. This place has really gone downhill and I will not be returning.

Rating: ★★★★☆ for food, ★★☆☆☆ for service
My friends and I have dined jabout five times over the past two months. We keep coming back because the food is consistently good—tasty, and worth the price. For the food alone, I would easily give 4 stars. We’ve had repeated concerns regarding the service experience, especially with one particular server who has assisted us several times. While I cannot speak to her intentions, I can only describe the way her behaviour consistently comes across to us as customers. Each visit, from the time we wait to be seated to the moment we order and eventually pay, her approach feels noticeably unwelcoming. Her demeanor tends to be curt, impatient, and disengaged, which unfortunately creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. We often feel as though we are being judged or treated as if we are an inconvenience, this has happened consistently enough that it no longer feels like an isolated moment of stress or a busy day. We travel often and dine at many Japanese restaurants, and we rarely encounter service that feels this tense or dismissive. We genuinely want to continue supporting the restaurant, but the hospitality aspect is a big part of dining out. A warmer, more respectful, and attentive approach from service staff would greatly improve the overall experience.
We hope this feedback can be taken constructively.

This place is great, traditional style booth’s, great service and fresh sushi. Loved our robot server “Bella”, as well as our human server!

I’ve been going to Yoshi Sushi for over 20 years. It is STILL the best sushi I’ve eaten anywhere. Always sit at the bar if available and talk to Terry or other chefs there. Best fresh, best flavour, Best! The decor could use updating…but that’s trivial in light of all else.

Ok so I haven’t been here in more than 20 years not sure if it’s owned by the same people or not, took my wife there and they did not disappoint. Service was very good food was terrific. The food looked very good and was great. Everything was perfect! I love the privacy booths I remember liking them years ago too. We will be going again soon everything was perfect! Oh and the prices were surprisingly low.

Recently went here with my family, and long story short, we will not ever be back. The sushi was flavourless, mostly rice, and loosely rolled. Service was extremely slow, and while apologetic, it was a long wait to get menus and over an hour to receive our orders. This was never my favorite place, but now it's barely edible. The business is for sale, and it's clear they do not care about it.

Great food, came quickly. Had to wait a while and hunt down someone for the bill but other than that, was great, We love sitting in our own little pod to eat.

The food was okay , but the waitress was awful . She made us feel like asking questions about the lunch combo was annoying to her . We also Sat for 20 min before we had to wave her down for a pre lunch drink , then she never asked again . .We watched other diners get their own utensils in a empty restruant consisting of 5 tables .We told her that it's our daughters 18 birthday .She then asked her for ID to prove . My daughter doesn't have a driver's license and I never thought to bring her B.C..She said too bad ,you could have had 20 % off if you had it . To bad because of her unprofessional attitude it's safe to say we will go elsewhere next birthday .

The gyoza here is the best in town! Perfectly crispy and not too oily; as well as super flavourful! A hidden gem for sure but definitely worth the visit.
