We had our Valentine's dinner at Bar Olo. Food was very delicious and portions were generous. The staff were really nice and friendly and provided fast service. The owner, Owen is really welcoming and friendly. We are happy we discovered this cosy and romantic spot and we would definitely go back.

If you're looking for a spot that hits all the right notes, Bar Olo is it. We had an incredible dinner here recently, and from the atmosphere to the final bite, everything was spot on. The Food & Drink The menu is clearly crafted with care. We started with the prawns and the tuna crudo, both of which were incredibly fresh and vibrant. Even the Caesar salad—a classic that many places overlook—was executed to perfection. To round it all out, the wine selection is top-tier. Our server was helpful in navigating the list, making sure our glasses paired perfectly with the meal. The Highlights Tuna Crudo: Fresh, delicate, and a must-order. The Tiramisu: Save room for dessert! This was a 10/10—easily one of the best we've ever had. Service: Attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Bottom line: Great food, great wine, and good vibes. We'll definitely be back soon.

The food was really good, the taste was exceptional. Our server, whose name escapes me was very attentive, interesting, and fun. My down side of our lunch was that the room was ice cold, and I wore my coat the whole meal. It is the middle of October and the weather was really rainy and cold. We avoided dessert and went next door to the Red Lion where we sat by the roaring fire and thawed out! Also, for the high end price of the pasta dish, it would have been lovely to include a small salad, or even a slice of bread.

We had a very friendly and attentive, and helpful server. The food was great. Both the salads and pasta. The cocktails and wine tasty also. It was quiet inside when we went (surprisingly warm outside given the change of seasons, so the crowd was on your patio). This was our first time. We live up the hill and will definitely be back.
