Had the seafood platter and the lobster and steak.
All the seafood were fresh and savoury.
However, I'd like to say the steak was a bit on the dry side and the portion was small for the price but enjoyed it nonetheless.
The staffs were pleasant to be served by but a little bit on the persuasive side.
We sat on the patio and the atmosphere was great for having luxurious dishes.
Overall, I recommed this place for special occasions.
Celebrated a birthday here and took advantage of the 1/2 priced wine and happy house selection. The menu has changed and features a more Japanese/Sushi forward menu. The Crunch Sushi roll was good. The aburi salmon was not great considering that there is a famous Aburi place close by. The salmon is not wild and there is no option to change it. It was also so thin that the torch cooked the entire thing which is not authentic to Aburi. The biscuit and honey comb were delicious. Finally, the sashimi platter was not worth any price as the slices of "sashimi" were translucent. There are exceptional sushi places a dime a dozen with fantastic thick prices of ahi and salmon. These were maybe 1/16 of an inch and looked more like shaved deli meat. I did not have the heart to tell the serving staff, who were all lovely. Brittany and Matt were welcoming and thoughtful and the Somalier was very well verses in wine and helped us select a lovely fume blanc for our meal. It's a shame the Japanese forward menu did not delight because there is potential but with high calibre sushi on every block it needs to be exceptional for those prices, even at happy hour prices. Overall the atmosphere and staff made for a nice birthday and discernment will be needed when ordering again.
Our luncheon dining experience, for 5 people was exceptional! We had 2 American guests who thought the food, ambience & service were all first rate. It was a wonderful time. It was a lovely idea to visit the Beach House and we will surely frequent it again.
I had a fantastic lunch with my girlfriend today at The Beach House. The mango lobster sushi was delicious. The servers were so thoughtful, complementary drinks for my bday today and a complementary dessert! Got the full love treatment today! Beautiful views, great food and lovely servers....thank you!
Whole experience was great, starting with the super friendly staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Staff are well trained and attentive to their guests. Food, ambience all great. But it really was the warm welcome that was the icing on the cake. Restaurant was nice and busy which is good because we need beautiful restaurants on the north shore. We look forward to returning and supporting this lovely venue.
The Beach House has one of the most beautiful locations in Vancouver but very much rests on that. Food is consistently mediocre for a high price. Service is generally good but waits for food can be surprisingly long. Best bet with this restaurant is happy hour or small bites and half priced wine on Wednesdays. Otherwise it's very consistent on not being worth the price.
Staff was fantastic and the vibe at the restaurant was great. Food was amazing! Nice little touch with the birthday card for our daughter's birthday. Definitely would recommend Beach House as a must for the water and sunset views. Will be back next time we're in town!
Set in a beautiful location, this restaurant unfortunately falls short in several key areas. The menu lacks inspiration, and the food I received appeared to have been sitting for some time before reaching the table. The chowder was cold, and the biscuits arrived with honey poured over butter—a far cry from the honeycomb promised on the menu. The Spaghettini Vongole was overwhelmed by parmesan, while the garlic bread was excessively garlicky and as hard as a rock. My guest, rather than enjoying their meal, merely pushed the food around their plate. Although the service is friendly, it is disorganized and lacks the polish one expects from a well-trained staff. Plates were cleared before all guests had finished their meals, and no one followed up to ensure the food was to our liking. Half the amount of front-of-house servers ought to have been able to manage the dining room calmly; instead, half of the servers were rushing around, while the others gathered in small clusters, conversing as though they were restaurant guests. There was a noticeable emphasis on pushing drink refills over providing a quality dining experience. Proper cutlery was not set before the food arrived on two occasions during the same meal. The entrée prices—$90 for steak and lobster tail and $21 for a glass of Chablis—promise a professional standard of dining, but the reality is more akin to what you'd find at a chain restaurant like Earls or The Keg. For example, my fork and knife were rolled in a napkin and handed to me by the server. That said, it does serve as an excellent spot for happy hour. Great view!
The Beach House once again delights! Quality, flavour and presentation of appetizers, entrees and dessert was top tier; prawn cocktail, mussels, and halibut special were absolutely delicious. Location and ambiance are great (noise level much lower than last visit) and service was definitely 5 star (welcoming, attentive, and great wine and food suggestions). Will be back!
Everything was great I like view, food and service. We were offered a great place with view and place for a stroller as we visited place with little baby. The only thing, I just got a bit frustrated with no suggestion regarding my birthday celebration.

Our party of four sat outside under the covered patio which was delightful as there was a nice breeze and sunshine. The tacos were delicious and just the right manageable size. Since I did not want the raw tuna filling, the waiter suggested a substitution of chicken. Two friends enjoyed the raw tuna filling. The crab cake and clam chowder were also delicious. The service was excellent with any request being fulfilled quickly. Matt, our waiter, was friendly and efficient without hovering or rushing us while keeping an eye on our table. We were very pleased to sit outside, as inside the music was very loud and it would have been difficult to have any conversation without shouting. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will return.
We love the location. No view this day due to rain storm. Food cost seem unusually expensive. Very few items under $30 Perhaps too many items over $40 Value was fair but not worth the travel. Not much of a crowd and almost too quiet. We were there for anniversity and they gave us glass of wine. Nice touch.
Booked The Beach House on a Saturday to catch the fireworks from Dundarave Pier. The host team was very welcoming and we were seated at a view table in the dining room. This place has a chill, refined, upscale vibe. Server was very professional and had a great personality. Hardest part was deciding what to order. Everything was delicious... Miso Sea Bass was recommended and is an excellent dish. Overall, would highly recommend The Beach House for great service, food and ambiance. The location is amazing and we'll be back.

Great place for a great meal in an upscale casual setting. Also the perfect place for date night, friends gathering or out of town guests with the location on the waterfront. Arrive a bit early to get your parking sorted.
