A really friendly smiling waitress served me. I ordered a delicious salmon and tuna poke, whereas I normally eat sushi but thought the picture looked appetizing. It did not disappoint! The crispy toppings are usually something I take off because it’s always overly fried but I was so hungry that ate it and it really made the dish even more yummy!

We came in as a group of 17. We tried a little but of everything, from sushi, sashimi, cooked food and specialty rolls. Every single one of them are great!! The flaming unagi roll is worth the try!! Service was great as well, they were very attentive and food came out on time. We're from Toronto and we will definitely be back

Best Sushi in Vancouver alwayss his the spot!
I’ve tried a ton of sushi places in vancouver , but Bene Sushi is the one I keep coming back to. Every time I’m in west van I always visit and, the sushi is fresh, flavorful, and just all-around amazing. My go-to rolls are the Aburi and California roll, and their other specialty rolls and honestly, I can’t get enough of them.
The Aburi roll is next level the seared fish on top is so smoky and delicious, and the flavors just pop in your mouth.
Also, the staff here is always super friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s one of those spots where you feel like you're getting top notch sushi without all the fuss. 😋🤤

I’ve been to a lot of sushi spots around Vancouver, but this one is hands down my favourite. I’m obsessed with their Aburi roll, I have to get it every time I go. The location is also a huge bonus, just steps from the beach, which makes it perfect on sunny summer days. Oh, and their unlimited green tea? Love it. Such a great touch.

The service is terrible at this restaurant. We went there with kids, they only brought one third of our order and only two kids had food and everyone else has to watch The rest of the food arrived so late that our kids were extremely upset. When we inquired they didn't give us any explanation. The food was ok, but not exceptional.
I personally will not go back here. Because the service was just horrible

First time eating here and our favorite sushi place that we tried in Vancouver (we tried 4 places this trip lol). Service was on point. We found street parking just under a block away.
We tried the Uni as my wife and I have never had it before. It was buttery smooth like everyone says but it tasted so incredibly fishy that we both hated it. Nothing against the restaurant for this, we understand that it’s probably preference :)
The toro was great. Not the absolute best we’ve had but better than most. The tuna and salmon was also top tier compared to other’s. The rolls were MASSIVE. Each piece took us two bites but I appreciated that they didn’t fall apart when taking two bites. The Ambleside roll was unique but incredibly well thought out. I loved it even though I don’t typically like yam.
Overall, great prices, great fish, great rolls. I would 100% recommend giving this place a try or even putting on your vacation agenda if you are just here for a couple days.

The portions are spot on. Loved the crab salad and half tonkatsu lunch bento. Service was courteous but slow. I had to wait, ask for a menu, ask for more water and tea, and ask for a box and to pay.

They handled the perfect veggie I’ve ever had!!! Perfect temperature control.
