Great local spot - get the crunch crunch roll, a classic of Kiisu. grateful that this place is around again in west van.
This is my favourite sushi place. The Snow Man sushi roll is worth the drive if you don't live nearby.
Wanted a Japanese restaurant near Ambleside so we could the beach after dinner & Google Maps gave us Kiisu.
GREAT option! We both had the Premium Dinner and loved it -
outstanding & good value. Starting with the tea & misu soup followed with three good sized pieces of mixed Sashimi (tuna & salmon) The dinner box was lovely. Really nice sushi & teriyaki (one ordered w/chicken one w/beef: chicken was better.)

Kiisu West Van is a decent sushi and Japanese place near Ambleside, offering relatively decent raw fish and a variety of options. The wild salmon, salmon and tuna sashimi, and hamachi are notable mentions. The restaurant also serves bento boxes and has a great lunch special. The staff are great, calm and friendly, and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. Kiisu West Van is a great stop with fresh and delicious food, and they have a happy hour. This is the only sushi restaurant in West Vancouver that many go to. They also serve takoyaki and ramen, with the hot tea being a highlight.
