Our family spent many, many happy hours here enjoying hot chocolate or catching quick snacks while snowshoeing. We especially appreciate how Hollyburn Lodge upscaled their kitchen this winter, with everything now served in real plates with metal forks/spoons (opposed to disposable ones in past years). The menu was also re-worked, so they now serve bistro-level dishes (again, compared to fast-food style in the past). The service is always quick and friendly. My kids love learning about the Lodge history through reading their articles hung on walls and checking out original artifacts.I would recommend Hollyburn Lodge as a perfect dating destination for young couples who want to spend their date outdoors, say snowshoeing Lights to the Lodge trail. No matter the weather, atmosphere in the Lodge and on the trails is always romantic and magical.Keep up the good work, Hollyburn! And see you again soon!

Great, cozy atmosphere. Good food at good prices. Great place for lunch or a snack while out xc skiing.
After the trails of snowshoe it was really comforting to drink a hot cider or wine, but I think they can improve the taste and size of beverages. The sweet potatoes are really good.

Great place to relax and rest between skiing or snowshoeing. Food is tasty but a bit pricey as food needs to be taken up by snowmobile.Outdoor seating is available under a large tent at the back.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of families here. You can bring your own food and nobody minds.

I wish there were more of these lodges offering a hot drink and something to eat on the mountains. Hollyburn lodge make a good job of keeping the historic atmosphere.
Nice place to stop at while snowshoeing. There’s a fire pit outside the lodge. Food was mediocre; fries were bland, wings were dry, and mulled wine was small.
Nice to have rest during your nordic snow activity or snowshoeing.

Great place to rest and take a break after skiing or snow shoeing. Lovely atmosphere and the expanded menu they had was great! My family had lots of fun a d thoroughly enjoyed their time at the lodge and just trekking around. As my family member said when asked how his first time trekking through snow and being at the lodge was "oh it's really wonderful! It exceeded all my expectations! If I could, I would come back for days! "

A placed for mulled wine, spiced apple cider, hot chocolate, and fries, complete with an outdoor stone fire and couches as a pit stop for the halfway point of the basic snowshoe trail. They also offer burgers, hot dogs, soups, desserts, etc.The food is like canteen food but the place is cozy and nice and the drinks are quite warming.
