Disappointed by Dishonest Treatment

My partner and I have been loyal customers of Organic Love Nutrition Bar and have always enjoyed the smoothies here. However, today we had a very disappointing experience with the owner.

Typically, when we choose a plastic bottle over a glass one, we receive $2 back. But today, the owner kept our $4 (for two bottles), claiming that the refund only applies if we bring back the glass bottles later. That’s misleading, as we effectively “returned” the glass bottles by not taking them in the first place.

When we questioned this, the owner was condescending and prideful, saying, “I’m the owner, I know better,” and made us feel like we were wrong for pointing out what’s always been the standard policy. It wasn’t about the $4—it was about the dishonesty and the way we were treated.

We’re truly disappointed by the greed and lack of respect shown to us today. This experience left a bad taste, and we’re unsure if we’ll be back. It’s unfortunate, as we used to love this place.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I love their products and frequent there for their organic juices. My favourite one is the green detox juice which also helped dial down a cold I had. Happy customer 💕

A quaint well equipped health and wellness store in Ambleside. Freshly pressed juices, smoothies, health shots and more are available on their freshly served menu. They have a variety of supplements, health and nutrition products and a large selection of organic nutritional products. There is a small outdoor space of one wanted to enjoy a smoothing in the fresh air. Located at the beach with plenty of free parking. Customer service could improve with friendliness and a little more welcome, otherwise a great local store for all health conscious individuals.
