The lemon tart is next level delicious. Not too sweet which is what I love. Iced coffee is perfect , Service was nice and efficient. Not my style of vibe in there but it was clean and very pretty with marble accents and counters . Kind of a high end feel to it.

Great banana loaf. Good coffee for a hot summer. Beautiful and delicious chocolates. It’s a pleasant surprise to find affordable and nice banana loaf in West Vancouver!

Great atmosphere, nice patio, nice pastries, super watery coffee though … the barista didn’t know how to steam the milk I can tell from the machine sound after working 5 years in this industry

If you want exquisite pastries or chocolate, TEMPER is your go to. I love west Van anyway, but this confection of a coffee shop has my heart ❤️. I love love the scones, the cinnamon Charlie. It is different than other coffee shops who offer the usual.
Enjoy a americano ...enjoy the view...share the scone or Charlie. Yummmmmm

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I had at your store this morning. I arrived at 7 AM and asked for a cake. One of the employees told me it would take 10 minutes, which I accepted without issue. I waited patiently for 45 minutes — during which time all the cakes were eventually brought out — yet no one bothered to update me, check in, or even acknowledge I was still waiting.
What made this worse was the behavior of the staff. The same employee who initially spoke to me completely ignored me afterward, choosing instead to chat on the phone and socialize with coworkers in another language — all while I was sitting there being dismissed and overlooked. When I finally approached another employee, I was told, “That’s all for now,” with no effort made to offer help or a solution. Eventually, she said she could maybe ask someone to prepare one later.
This kind of treatment is simply unacceptable. In the past, your team was polite, attentive, and genuinely cared about the customer experience. Sadly, that standard has clearly deteriorated. What I witnessed today was a complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service. I felt disrespected, unwelcome, and invisible.
As a loyal customer, I am genuinely disheartened. I hope you take this feedback seriously — because unless there is a real change in how customers are treated, I don’t see myself returning, nor recommending your place to others.

My favorite .......... the almond croissant.
Everything about Temper is 5 out of 5. Decadence in every item from sandwiches to chocolates to cakes to croissants. And do not miss out on Charlie Bits or Cheesy Bites. But I'm warning you, you will become addicted and this is ok.
I always go to temper for a pastry and a coffee in the morning and most of the time there’s an Asian guy and an Asian girl who make pretty nice lattes. Today it’s another girl and she made a latte that’s looks like automatic machine made coffee. I asked her if she can change it to the normal regular mug instead of to go cup. She was very unwilling but then grab a mug in front of her and poured the latte from the paper cup into the mug. I told her I expected her to make a new latte for me. She then rolled her eyes up and said rudely “ it’s none of my business!” At this time the manager came out from the back and asked what had happened, this girl rolled up her eye again and told her I asked for a Latte in a mug but I ordered it to go! The manager without talking to her, told me she made this mistake as when she charged me early she punched it as “To go”. Then she asked me if she can give me something on the house, I said I don’t need that, I only want to address the problem with that girl’s attitude towards me. While that girl finally made another latte for me because the manager told her to, but the entire time she’s so rude and throw the new cup of latte in front of me, with her eyes rolled up again. At the moment I asked her “why do you showed me such an attitude? I just want a decent cup of latte that I have paid for!” Without saying anything she continued with this attitude and walked away, the manager didn’t care and allowed her staff to have such a unacceptable customer service.

Bad hot chocolate, mid sandwich, too expensive. Hot chocolate actually makes me mad about how bad it is especially for the price when even tims has a better hot chocolate
I visit this place often, and they deliver every time.
This place is home to my most fondest memories; every one of my celebrations and big life events were celebrated with a temper cake and it has always lived up to the moment. Staff are always super nice too.

One of the best spots for fresh pastries especially the almond croissant . Always fresh! The coffee is pretty good as well. Great spot to grab a coffee and walk to the beach.
