The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Park Royal

Service was good. I was a bit dissapointed in the ribs. Meat was a bit dry and tough. French Onion soup bowls are smaller now. This affects the value of eating out . Less likely to eat out again .

Our server Ezgi was very attentive, the food was outstanding, the courses were delivered promptly but not rushed, and The Keg was very generous with extra goodies to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Out steak was dry and overcooked. Our lobster was barely any meat . The only thing good was the wine , the martini and French fries . For a $245 bill not worth it . Also outside deck tables a muddle of furniture , needs a lot of work and cleaning.

We mad a reservation and celebrated a birthday and for 5 adults we were put on a 4 seat table with 2 having to squish together. Food was good not great. Service was better.

Server served my plate with his plating napkin fully covering my potatoes, which shojld never hapeen. Thenplate wasn't even hot. Steak was under cooked, veggies were cold. Disappointing for proce point.

My lil family and I went for no special reason just to go have good food and it was so yummy

Dined in the lounge during early dinner hours. Friendly service from the bartender and quick drinks. Disappointing main course of prime rib. I’ve dined at different keg locations numerous times and have had the prime rib many times, but the meat quality was quite sub-par this time. Tough, sinew-y, limited fat. Not sure if they received a substitute product, or just an off night, but it tasted like single A quality, far from Canadian prime.

We are regulars at the Burnaby Keg and always happy. Family wanted to have a dinner at this location so we made a reservation for 6. I know bigger tables are harder, but it just seemed like every staff member was brand new and didn’t know the menu. Each dish was missing something (ex. Butter for lobster, drizzled onions with prime rib, side of mushrooms with classic, etc.). It was also pretty slow service, and our waters were never refilled. Food tasted good but service/kitchen was not as good as other locations.

I made a reservation at The Keg at Park Royal in North Vancouver hoping to have a nice dinner with my family, but the experience was disappointing.

Despite booking ahead, we were told there were no tables available inside and were seated outside on a very hot, sunny day. The patio has little to no shade, which made it extremely uncomfortable.

Considering how much we paid for dinner, I expected at least some level of consideration for guest comfort. When we raised the issue, the only solution offered was to slightly turn a chair, which didn’t help at all. There was no real effort from the staff or manager to find an alternative or improve the situation.

Overall, it felt poorly managed and not worth the price. I would think twice before returning.
