My cod was delicious and the guy working was friendly. Everything looked great and fresh - will definitely be back !
What can I say? Fishmonger right in our community! They used to be common but now a good old fashioned shop like this is as rare as hen's teeth.
I absolutely love this place and they keep their inventory fresh and well stocked.
Don't!
Turn around, go to the grocery store, get yourself a cooked salmon and a bag of lettuce. You'll save ten bucks.
1. I had to finish my salad with a leftover egg I had in the fridge.
2. I had to add my own dressing.
3. Tail end of the fish which makes an improperly cooked fish even drier.
Conclusion: Extremely stingy portions. Both Protein & Dressing.

Ok.....
I had the Salmon Salad.
The size of the salmon I would say was comical if I hadn't paid $19 for it. It was so overcooked and so thin that technically It could've been Salmon Jerky.
The Salad itself, which was a combination of cabbage, shredded lettuce, cranberries and edamame with a tiny sliver of a small avocado cut in half on the side. lol.
I mean honestly I can't take this review seriously. It was as if a 7 year old made me their first salad.
Again, perhaps cute if It hadn't cost me $19.
Service?
Not great. Not terrible.
They took my money and gave me my food.
That pretty much sums it up at this Fish Market on Wednesday, April 8 2026 @ around 12 noon.
Great selection of fresh and frozen fish. And tinned fish from Portugal is a nice bonus! Friendly and helpful service. Good deal on Portuguese olive oil too!!
I love this shop. Great selection of fresh and pre-frozen fish and seafood, pre-made seafoods, all kinds of unique provisions, and the lunches! The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable.
We had a great bike ride and wanted salmon for dinner…googled some place and found this fish market. They had a wonderful selection of fish…all looking very good. Ended up getting oysters as well and candied salmon. All of it was really good!!! The person behind the counter was very friendly and helped us with all our questions. We will be back!!!

Quality of their seafood is great. Very good candied salmon!
Everything is fresh with lots of options.
A beautiful local spot! It's not cheap there, but the fish and seafood are always fresh. Hand peeled shrimp are my top pick. They also do delicious fresh lunches to go on weekdays. I recommend trying the taco bowl or the halibut sandwich. You can eat right next to the store or walk 100 m to the embankment (there are comfortable tables near the water and the garden).

The tataki bowl was delicious and the customer service was very welcoming! 10/10 would go again
Good vibe, good food, ok prices but food justifies it.

My first time in the store. I was most impressed with the display, obvious freshness and quality. What really set it apart though was the young man who helped me. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, he advised me on the various fish and even offered recommendations on how to cook. The piece of sable fish I purchased was truly exquisite. I'll definitely return regularly.
My favourite fish shop in the Greater Vancouver Area! They always have an amazing variety of the best seafood. Very friendly and helpful staff!
