Great restaurant with fantastic staff and a good menu. The waiter was amazing, always checking in and being quite friendly. The food was all around great. The fried goat cheese is a great appetizer. The steak was very good as well. All main dishes are large portions. Cocktails were great as well.21 steps is worth a visit!

My friend and I stopped for dinner at her suggestion. She had previously eaten here on a different visit to Whistler. We were able to be seated at the bar right away as we didn't have a reservation. Service was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed sitting at the bar. We chose mussels in Thai curry sauce to start and shared the ling cod dinner. The mussels were fresh and flavourful. The ling cod came served with rice and vegetables. The vegetables were nicely seasoned and firm. The ling cod was nicely seasoned, but slightly on the dry side so a bit overcooked for my taste. It was very tasty but lacked the moisture that would have made it a 5 star meal. I would go back to try some other dishes next time I am in Whistler.

The server was excellent, but a bit slow. We were a large group, and had reserved ahead so two servers would have been better. The food… highly disappointing! Bacon wrapped filet bites, cooked to well done and had no flavor. The meat was tough. Fried goat balls were undercooked, no crisp to them and the honey should be drizzled right over so you’re not mashing them trying to get honey onto them. Kale ceasar had poor distribution of dressing and very little flavor. Maybe they don’t want it to be garlicky at all?? But I assume most people want some garlic hint in their ceasar? Kale pieces were wayy too large and required cutting which is also odd for a ceasar, kale or not. Salmon was cold, undercooked and flavorless. Having to add excess salt and pepper to try and get any flavor was no fun. All and all the food was terrible to put it plainly. I can get better salmon in the middle of the country where it’s totally landlocked. Huge disappointment and waste of money.Bathrooms were oddly located and narrow walking past the bar to get to them.

We were able to make reservations easily for a party of 7 via email. Bacon wrapped filet mignon was very underwhelming. Smoked chicken pasta had good flavor. Peach crisp and Belgian chocolate brownie were only ok.

21 steps may be considered a large climb to some, but it's totally worth it when you get to the top! Staff, cocktails, food all on point. Top dishes and cocktails: everything! One of my favourites in Whistler!

I requested a mild dish and was told that the Thai curry was mild by our waitress. Yet it was so spicy that I couldn’t eat it. I complained but was not given any compensation. In addition, I requested to substitute tofu for chicken and our waitress did not mention that adding chicken would incur an additional cost of $7. I feel the customer service was poor at 21 Steps and I will not be coming back.

Virginie gave a top notch service. Very attentive to food restrictions, good wine recommandation, we never tan out of wine or water… and she was just the sweetest and kindest. Everything you could ask for in a good waiter. She made our night !!!

Watch out, the "tiger prawns" are the size of medium shrimp at best. Taste and service was good though.

Food was average. Rib eye was ok. My wife ordered the french fries as a side and they were frozen fries. Disappointing for a restaurante of this price. Also ordered the prawns and we got little shrimp. Prawns are not normal shrimp so very misleading.

Everything about this place is stellar. Tasty food. Consistently great service. Fun vibe. Good times. Amazing cocktail bar in the attic. Start with après and stay all night. It's. That. Good.

A nice enough restaurant. Service was decently fast and it had a great view of Whistler. Nice location in the village with nice ambiance. Food was just ok for the price though, as were the drinks.

Nice setting, good and attentive service. The starters were really good. Main courses quite mundane.Vegetarian options: There's a vegan pasta dish, and the fried goat cheese is obviously vegetarian. Quite a few dishes for you if you do eat fish.
