Best restaurant in Whistler village. I liked the update interior than a couple of years ago. The colour feels like more elegant and spacious lay out than before. Our food were very flavourful! Oysters were very fresh.


Every October they offer a discounted tasting menu for $40 or so, because Whistler sees less tourists during that month. The food is still amazing and service is still attentive. You’re still getting your usual Araxi treatment. The restaurant was packed with no empty tables on a Monday night so you know they are doing something right. As for the food, don’t fade their sushi, surprisingly they do it well even though they’re not a Japanese sushi restaurant.

Reputed best restaurant in Whistler and broadly lived up to the reputation. We ordered a number of sushi dishes, rolls, oysters and salads for our meal.The seafood was quite fresh and the service was excellent. Overall we were satisfied but was looking for that edge which would really allow Araxi to earn the name of best restaurant in town.

We had an amazing girls weekend and celebrated all of our birthdays at Araxi’s. Everything was perfection. All of our expectations were exceeded. From accommodating dietary restrictions, to finding our perfect cocktails, every detail was executed beautifully. Our server Talya was sweet, knowledgeable and professional while being warm and making excellent recommendations. The flavours and balance were truly on point. Can’t wait to come again.


The appetizer were great (seafood trio and beef tartar) but their entrees were a little bit of a let down. The seafood carbonara was too dry and spicy. The duck was okay but again a little on the dry side and would have preferred maybe an extra side to eat it with.Our waitress was also rude at the end when I didn’t tip her the 20% she was expecting (All she did was just serve our food and filled our water in the beginning and once again right before we were about to pay the bill). After I paid she just walked away without saying any sort of goodbye so I sat an extra minute there as I was not sure if she was going to give a receipt or not.

Service and food were excellent. Good menu choices and sushi lobster roll was fresh and tasty. Pork belly and scallops were delicious. Been a while since I was last here but need to make it back more often Any of the Top Table Group of restaurants are top notch and never disappoint.


While pricey, it was worth every penny. Service was exceptional, sommelier visited when we had questions. Husband had the smoked salmon salad appetizer, which was smoked on site (salmon was from New Zealand, which was unexpected!) Every bite was delicious and savoured. We were given a special extra dessert for our anniversary, which was appreciated. Will absolutely return.


Great food. Very popular and busy so be sure you make reservations in advance for dinner. We arrived about 20 Mins early hoping we could be seated a little early but had to wait till our reservation time still. Watched many people walk in without reservation hoping to get a table and left as they would have had to wait several hours. Ordered 2 tasting menu. Was plenty of food.

Araxi is undoubtably the best restaurant in Whistler! During our trip we came here for oysters and drinks and decided to spend our last night here - it was a great choice ! Amazing food and drinks - we began with cocktails - Lucy in the Sky and Cafe Negroni and beautiful mocktails for the kids. Then we enjoyed their oysters - 2 west and 2 east coast choices that weee so fresh and perfectly prepared that we kept on ordering! Followed by the scallop crudo that was my favorite of the night, spicy tuna rolls - also superb; Tuna Zuke - another favorite that we ended up getting more of ; salmon sashimi- deliciously fresh and a deep pink that tells you this is not that nasty farmed stuff. We also enjoyed the octopus, truffled fries and delicious Pemberton cucumber soup. That soup was amazing and we hope to be able to somehow replicate it once we get home Finally dessert . That standout was the chocolate fondant , Panna cotta was good, cheesecake was weird and tasted more like an egg custard but was still nice. Restaurant is beautiful, service excellent and this place is always worth a visit! Great way to end our trip!

Atmospher and food was great! Had a wonderful waitress from Australia who was very kind. Food was very good compared to other restaurants in Whistler, but do think the truffle fries could of had a bit more truffle flavor. I settled with the beet salad, the sablefish, as well as sorbet.


Fantastic service and food, great view of the hustle bustle of Whistler village. A bit expensive for their portion size but noting this is in the touristy Whistler.

Been coming here for years, I don't eat here often because it's not in my budget generally, but, when we feel like splurging and want great food and service, its a pretty safe bet. Ate here June of 22', server was fantastic, food was great, my wife and I had glass of wine from the owners vineyard and spicy margarita-awesome and I had the halibut special, daughter had beet salad, wife had steak...we all loved it. Cheers
