Artigiano Whistler

French press coffee was tasty, nice quiet spot in the centre of the village. Small selection of sweet muffins and croissants, they only had 1 gluten free option when we visited.

I ordered a extra hot latte with no foam, the latte was not hot lots of foam, the girl who was making sandwiches with No gloves who happened to wear a cropped top was touching her belly button and then continued making the sandwiches, of course with no gloves. We ordered 2 drinks and egg on croissant it was expensive and not worth it. Will never go there again. Not to mention we tipped the highest tip percentage.

I ordered a Chi Latte, the price board only mentioned one price but I was told there were different sizes. Price not offered. I ordered a large, the wait was a little long but the worse part was the Chi tea was served to me lukewarm and it tasted more like Tetley tea, the spice was weak. I will not be going back.

This café does not understand customer service.

I never write reviews, but this just didn’t make sense to me. Whistler is built on customer service and based on this experience and company policy, I’d say this business doesn’t belong in Whistler.

Ordered a London fog.
Was friendly with staff.
Tipped.
The drink had sugar in it, which I didn’t want but didn’t specify.
I asked to confirm it had sugar in it, the barista confirmed. Said I should always specify when ordering. Fair.

I asked if it would be possible to get a new drink without sugar and apologized for not specifying. the barista said sure, dumped out my drink, but seemed bothered by the request.
After pouring out the drink, she explained I would need to pay for another drink.

I respectfully asked if that was the policy at this café. She explained that making another drink would mean additional expenses etc etc. I can imagine those costs are less than $2. The drink was over $7 with tax.
It was not busy, no line, no customers waiting. No opportunity cost. Just an opportunity to save a well intentioned repeat customer.

I then respectfully said that I understood her position, but that I just wouldn’t be returning if that was how the café handles customer service. She respectfully said that was fine and she understood, so I walked out without the drink I paid for, and won’t be walking back in.

Weird experience. No one was rude for the record!

Terrible service, the girl made coffee slowly, while drinking her coffee and talking to her friends. She didn't say that my coffee was ready until I asked 10 minutes later. Coffee was already cold

Do not give the customers lip about change make sure you have the right change to give them if they have cash. Do you think you're better than people you going down I'm going to make sure you go down. How dare you have people talk to me in that way when I'm trying to get coffee in the morning with my cash ready to buy it.

I am starting to think that there is not a single coffee shop in Whistler that knows how to make a flat white.

Lovely atmosphere and great employees. Really enjoyed my peppermint mocha, had to be the best drink I’ve had at this place! So good

I had an amazing experience here! The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming with an amazing view outside. The coffee was absolutely delicious, brewed to perfection, and the selection of pastries was delightful! The staff were super friendly and attentive, which added to the overall great vibe. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their offerings!
