The food was very tempting to eat. Although they did not have many options for beverages (other than coffee or tea), the food was absolutely delicious. The plain coffee was tasty and very satisfactory. My daughter got the chocolate croissant and hot chocolate. She said it was very delicious and the hot chocolate was the perfect temperature. The interior was aesthetically pleasing and very vibey. Overall, this restaurant was spectacular and deserves at least 4 stars.

My partner and I made the mistake of driving to Cafe Artigiano for Vancouver's Hot Chocolate festival since they were listed as a contender and we were looking for a fun day trip! Sadly what we got was the most tepid, unflavoured, uninspired beverage we have had the misfortune of ordering.The staff member was extremely sick (no voice, coughing all over the place) when taking our order we mentioned having driven to Whistler for the hot chocolate she said "oh you must be kidding" She took our order and when she put down the drinks they were identical and nothing like the poster showed or described. The sides (a crucial part of the hot chocolate festival experience) were missing and when asked about it the barista told us "We don't have the ingredients for it and it's basically the same thing anyways.. Don't worry this is just as good" Plot twist, it wasn't.The overall experience was comical it was so bad.

Cute little coffee spot right below where my friends and I were staying. I was looking for amazing coffee and a quick bite and Caffe Artigiano exceeded my expectations!I got a 20oz Iced Caramel Mocchiato with Almond Milk and a Breakfast Croissant and it was just the perfect morning coffee and light meal! Their Pain du Chocolate is amazing and perfect Dark Chocolate sweetness but the flakiness is out of this world! Will definitely coming back! It’s just an elevator down ?Staff was extremely help and super nice! I was skeptical about coming in as reading reviews that staff was rude etc etc but in my sincere opinion they’re just lies! For those who made a review about staff being super rude and giving you dirty looks it’s most likely you’re having a terrible day and think the world is against you! Urgh!!!The staff were extremely rude! Two young girls and a yong chap with a cold face and tone of voice that makes you feel unwanted customers! And despite my feeling when i said “thank you” they didn’t respond! ??♀️Dude! If you don’t like your job just fake it or change it! Don’t treat ppl like that! Look around and learn from other shops! that’s not the standard level of customer service !I won’t come back and definitely won’t recommend it. We had many options and mistakenly chose this place!
I had a half-caf Americano in an 8oz cup so it was nice and strong. I ordered an apple walnut muffin that was gluten free as there were only 2 muffins to choose from and that one sounded like it would be heartier. It was in fact I think the worst muffin I've ever had. Likely the GF mix was part of the issue but I've had plenty of GF muffins before that I liked. There was basically nothing in it, I ran into two walnuts and zero apples and the whole muffin had an odd sandy, crumbly texture. I definitely don't recommend that muffin. The Americano was perfectly suitable, no complaints. The location is convenient. It would be nice if the outside heaters that are hanging over the tables worked so you could comfortably sit out there. I remember them working back when it was a Starbucks and that was nice, especially for those coffeeing with their pups. The service consisted of one friendly enough barista, I'd be happy to be served by him again here or wherever.This one doesn't get a yay or a nay from me, it is what it is. If you need a coffee, it'll work. I will say that I would choose Blenz next door over Artigiano though. Much better food and vibe and the coffee is good too.

I see reviews about people being offended by “rude looks” and “short” attitudes from the staff. It’s a coffee shop, get over yourselves, the staff are there to make and serve you coffee. The coffee is great quality, espresso is not bitter or sour, just right. Have not tried the food but the croissants look fresh. Will be coming back for the top tier coffee!

Hot chocolate here is yucky and app does not work. Placed an order through the app, waited, said waiting confirmation from the store, nothing happened, went in, waited, then inquired, they were not aware of our order. The hot chocolates were then made, and they were nothing more than expensive barista oat milk frothed. No chocolate taste at all. Would give a 2 star. Not our first time going there and not liking the drinks/food.
