Came for a birthday dinner and sampled their octopus tapas. Zero rubberiness. The meat was so tender that my girlfriend and I tore through the plate. I had to ask if the chef could share how he cooked the octopus to make it so tender and he was kind enough to spend ten minutes describing it. My family are not fond of octopus but I would bring them here to change their mind.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, timely food, and the vast majority of what we ordered was fantastic, among them: the sangria, the croquetas, the serrano toast, the salami + honey toast, the duck liver toast, the tuna poke, the rolled pork belly, the empanada and the cod toast. Two dishes missed the mark though: the roaster butternut squash and the short rib. I was hoping for stronger flavors with those, but instead felt they were a bit too bland.

The food was amazing and the drinks too! Highly recommend the seafood, it felt like having a bit of the coast of Spain in the snow. Sitting at the bar, talking to the chefs while they explained the dishes added tons to the experience - a little on the pricey side but everything in Whistler is.

Great spot for Spanish tapas with a cozy, lively vibe. Amanda was amazing with her recommendations, and the service was quick and friendly.
We ordered the house baked bread, shishito peppers, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, and lamb albóndigas. The shishito peppers were blistered, flavourful, and not spicy at all. A must-try. The patatas bravas were crispy and comforting, the gambas were rich and garlicky, and the lamb meatballs were tender and well seasoned.
Even though mulled sangria was not on the menu, Amanda brought out the winter menu just for us. The sangria was warm, spiced, and perfect for the cold, sleety weather.
Do not skip dessert. The Basque cheesecake was excellent. Creamy, rich, and perfect without a biscuit base.
Great food, great service, and great vibes. Would absolutely come back.

Crews always seem to be finding their groove on November - presumably new folks for the season. So timing was off. Our wine order was missed. Timing was ok but too.much early and no enough late. Spanish omelette tapas was awful. Peppers and salt cod good. Octobua was tasty and lamb meatballs were good. Nothing great but everything ok with the exception of the omelette. Don't order that.

Amazing spot in the heart of the village! The menu, wine pairings, and ambience were all top tier. Appreciated the coat check and the genuine care and attentiveness of all staff, even those who were not our designated server! Looking forward to coming back the next time we are in Whistler :)

Bar Oso was incredible! The patatas bravas, ibérico selection and paella were fantastic. Our table had several dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate them all. Highly recommend the gin flight! Loved that they had free coat check too.
We had a 5 pm reservation and so it wasn’t too busy yet and we didn’t have to wait for a table.
