Busy views, just ok food. This restaurant is at the top of the Blackcombe gondola, and sports spectacular views of the Whistler area. However, the food from the food court right next door is just as good. Although this is supposed to be a higher-end restaurant, the food is just okay. We ordered the tiger prawns, the Christine's salad, the steelhead trout, and the vegetarian parpadelle pasta.

Tiger prawns: 3.5/5
Christine's salad: 4/5
Steelhead trout: 1.5/5
Parpadelle pasta: 4/5

The steelhead trout was a big disappointment, the fish was not fresh and the rice was undercooked and two vinegary.

Late post of Whistler trip. Definitely a much different vibe in the summer.

You will need to purchase ticket for the gondola ride from the base of Blackcomb in addition to your dining experience. You can make a day out of it by purchasing the Summer Alpine Experience which not only gives you the gondola ride up Blackcomb but also gives you the Peak to Peak tram ride to Whistler Mountain then the gondola ride to the base of Whistler mountain in the village.

At the top we explored and enjoyed a simple lunch with picturesque views, it was a tad smoggy due to heat that day, but the stillness of the air, the muted colors of the landscape as there was no snow while the mountains cradled in mist watching gondolas up and down was nice.

Open for lunch in both summer and winter and located at the top of the Blackcomb Gondola in the Rendezvous Restaurant on Blackcomb Mountain, 1,860 meters up (6,102 feet).

We ordered a bottle of wine, the Sundried Heirloom Tomato Pappardelle and Roast Steelhead Bowl which all reasonably priced for the vibe and experience. They pride themselves using fresh local ingredients and comparable to Alpine the other dining options in the Village that changes alot more.

However, on this particular day felt unwelcoming. It wasn't the same expectation of service one usually receives, maybe server having a bad day as there was no smiling and M.I.A for most of time.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, this a magical place. And the smash burgers where great. The wait time for the burger was a bit long, but overall it was a great experience.

I used to love ending a ski day here with a warm meal, but our recent summer visit was a letdown. We’d hoped to treat our guest to a memorable mountain lunch, yet the experience fell flat.

The atmosphere was set by background music that felt like a dated, low-energy jazz track from a 90s hospitality reel. The Niçoise salad was dominated by an overwhelming mix of Kalamata olives and rosemary, masking every other flavour. Other mains were equally lacklustre, and I could see our guest politely masking their disappointment.

If not for the stunning view and beautiful gondola ride, it would have been a complete embarrassment. It’s a shame to see what was once a charming spot become such an anticlimax. Do yourself a favour—pack a picnic or try the café instead, and skip overpaying for mediocrity.

Christine's at Blackcomb truly impresses in every way. Its location is stunning, featuring gorgeous alpine views that make you want to stay long after finishing your last sip. After a day of hiking, it was the perfect retreat. The Whistler Water (which deserves a shoutout) tasted refreshingly crisp and clean, while the meat and cheese charcuterie board paired wonderfully with a glass of BC wine and craft beer.

If you find yourself in Whistler and are looking for something elegant yet relaxed, Christine's is a must-visit.

Very welcome lovely food and excellent service from Becky and Sophia . The steelhead trout was simply delicious and the 3 course menu super value at $50 per person. Liked the local ‘hope you’re happy’ IPA - what’s not to like and the views to die for.
