Was made to feel very unwelcome by Christina. I showed up and explained to the host my mom was sitting at the bar and they said I could go and seat myself with her. Christina confronts me and makes me feel like I have done something wrong. Making her point multiple times that you are not supposed to sit at the bar to have drinks and snacks. She made sure to tell us she was making an exception just this once and we need to understand we are only to come here to eat a full lunch....

Busy views, just ok food. This restaurant is at the top of the Blackcombe gondola, and sports spectacular views of the Whistler area. However, the food from the food court right next door is just as good. Although this is supposed to be a higher-end restaurant, the food is just okay. We ordered the tiger prawns, the Christine's salad, the steelhead trout, and the vegetarian parpadelle pasta.

Late post of Whistler trip. Definitely a much different vibe in the summer.

You will need to purchase ticket for the gondola ride from the base of Blackcomb in addition to your dining experience. You can make a day out of it by purchasing the Summer Alpine Experience which not only gives you the gondola ride up Blackcomb but also gives you the Peak to Peak tram ride to Whistler Mountain then the gondola ride to the base of Whistler mountain in the village.
