Disappointing. Whistler Blackcomb has been pushing how wonderful the reimagined Horstman Hut is. Sadly, as often seems to be the case with WB, the delivery is less than adequate. One till wasn't working, so the woman who was supposed to be on the till was helping with the food preparation, and the inexperienced guy was left to operate the till. Meaning he was continually leaving the till and pulling the woman who knew how to work the till back to sort out the problems. Why there was two preparing food, I have no idea, as it was obvious that the bottleneck was at the till. To add to the disappointment, there were no German sausages available, which was why most people were there. The woman explained that the sausage delivery hadn't arrived. I've heard this excuse made at WB food and beverage outlets time and time again, obviously either somebody in distribution or purchasing is letting the WB team down, resulting in lost revenue for WB and their profitability.
