They don’t answer the phone, return voicemails, or confirm your reservation online (it shows up as a request). I’ve called numerous times and no answer during their hours of operation. Terrible customer service! I’m left trying to find a spot for 12 people tomorrow last minute
Always very good. Great pasta, enormous wine selection and great room.
Back again and so far always a great experience. However, they did change the meatballs which i like the fried version better.

The service here is extremely disappointing. They clearly treat customers differently—if you order bottle of wine, they’ll be all smiles and check on you constantly, but for regular guests they’re indifferent and dismissive. I still left the standard 15% tip, and instead of a simple “thank you,” the server tore up the receipt, tossed it on the table, and walked away without a word.

Had an excellent meal here and the pasta tasted really good. It makes a difference when you make pasta from scratch! The service was excellent too!

There’s nothing left to desire here, the service and food and atmosphere are all top notch. And… they make great craft cocktails that are not buried in sugar. 🤩

Steph was amazing! She brought us free bubbles for our friends birthday, was so attentive, and had excellent recommendations for wine/food pairings. The food and atmosphere were excellent. 100% recommended.

I've been to a lot of places in Whistler and this is hands down the best restaurant in Whistler. Everything is top notch!

Sabrina was an excellent server. She made an effort to connect with us and remembered our special occasion after a busy dinner.

The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had, and our server was wonderful. The only downside was the hostess seemed unfriendly and grumpy when we first arrived.

I wish I knew the name of the amazing server we had. My daughter and I were sitting against the wall, one table away from the front window, with a 7:30 reservation, on Thursday, Sept. 4th. She was blonde with a ponytail and so excellent; very personable, attentive (while still giving us our space), great sense of humour and just all around superb. She made our evening even more special (as did all of your other staff). Thank you!

Sometimes it's not about the food, it's about the experience. I've explored Western Canada for two weeks and decided to splurge at Il Caminetto in Whistler. To start, the food is fine. My experience started with making a reservation and the only times were 5:00pm and 9:00pm. I chose 5:00. I didn't want to be late and be turned away, but I inadvertently arrived 15 minutes early. Apparently they open at 5:00, so I was asked to sit outside and wait. Just before 5:00, they came out and took a few walk ins, ignoring me sitting there. When I was seated inside, all the tables were empty in my section. The tables have a weird leg configuration splaying out from the center so they were right where you put your legs. Strange. I had to contort my legs to fit somehow. My server, Lindsey, was the highlight of the dinner. The best service I've had in as long as I can remember. He gave vibes of Delbert Grady, the butler in the Shining who convinced Jack to kill his family. Lindsey just convinced me to get dessert. Lindsey is better than this restaurant. Anyway, I left at just before 7:00 and there were still many tables empty. I just don't understand making me reserve the first seating. As I said, the food was fine, it was just way overpriced. I guess it's just Whistler.

Bad experience - rude reception and terrible wait time. No respect to customers and their time.

We were really excited to try this restaurant after hearing so many good things, but unfortunately had a very disappointing experience last night. We came for a walk-in and were told by the host that there will be a spot available for us by 9:45 pm, possibly earlier. We even left our phone number with her in case a table opened up.
We patiently waited nearby, even though it was late and we were tired from hiking, but no one contacted us. When we came back at 9:45, the same host informed us that the kitchen was running late and no walk-ins could be accommodated. She mentioned she had known this for about 45 minutes — yet we never received a call. At that point, it was nearly 10 pm and most restaurants nearby were closed, leaving us scrambling to find somewhere else to eat.
What made it worse was the lack of apology or empathy from the host. We completely understand that restaurants get busy, but the communication and attitude were unacceptable. Very disappointing experience, especially given the reputation of this place.
