Food was awesome, service was great. Waitress hyped up the halibut and four people in our group ordered it ... she came back to say it was no longer available. Other than that it was great. Shrimp cocktail was one of the best I have had.
I have visited Joe Fortes in Vancouver. was excited to visit Whistler and try this location. Disapointed in the quality of the food. Undercooked potatoes, warm beer, serving sizes were correct for the value.

WOWWWWWWW is all I can say. The food is UNREAL. The service is world-class. We had someone named Matthew as our waiter and he was so funny, kind, genuine and made our experience even more top notch. Coming again for sure. Huge fan.

Holy linguini I gotta say in my 7 days dining in Whistler this was the best. Joe Fortes has the cozyest place to dine. Service is beyond, wanna just invite everyone home. Food was exceptional! The clams was a one of best ever!

Wonderful, service, food, can't thank the staff enough for an amazing evening. The staff went above and beyond to make our special event a might to remember.
Very nice evening. Staff wasn't rushed to have table so we sat longer. Food was very good: rich, heavy exactly what I expected. The only knock against is that the hotel lobby you pass through looks, feels and smells like a sports spa. Kind weird entrance! Staff were excellent. Thx

We had such wonderful service from Eliza, she made a special occasion SO FUN and did a wonderful job organizing our courses from the many appetizers we ordered as a sharing meal. Wonderful service. Great food.

Good spot and we agreed it was decent but the Keg had better steaks and costs less. The steak looked like a photo with the perfect grill marks but tasted more like a fast casual restaurant. I'd say it's a good overflow restaurant

The food was very very good. But honestly the service and the attitude of the team of the waiter and waitress was above and beyond. They were funny, personable and amazing. Such a great dinner for our family. They even made my anti-vegetable kid eat salad and asparagus, it was hilarious.

While the food at Joe Fortes was undeniably delicious, the overall dining experience was marred by aggressive service and unnecessary confrontation regarding the tip. Upon receiving the bill, the waitress insisted that we tip more than the 15% we had already left, even resorting to intimidation tactics and shouting at us. When we requested to speak with the manager, he approached us in a confrontational manner, claiming that a 20% tip was "necessary by law" without providing any explanation. Despite feeling uncomfortable, we ultimately paid an 18% tip to avoid further conflict. Even after settling the bill, the waitress continued to berate us about her service, following us to the entrance and creating a scene.
