Great way to start the day. Excellent pastries and an adequate amount of options to choose from.

I stopped by for breakfast and ordered the avocado toast, a bagel, and the berry waffle. The café has a nice vibe, and the staff was friendly, but the food was just average. The avocado toast was fresh but lacked seasoning, and the portion size was smaller than expected. The bagel was okay—nothing special. The berry waffle looked great but was a bit too sweet, and the berry topping wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped.
Overall, it’s an alright spot for a casual breakfast, but there’s room for improvement, especially given the price.

On my most recent trip to Whistler I wasn’t only let down by Portobello I don’t think I ever ever return. It was my go to after riding, I’d order a sandwich, poutine, coffee. Let me break it down for you. I couldn’t get a hot coffee for the life of me, omg what is so hard with offering hot coffee?

Sandwich is different every time no matter if you order the same sandwich the day before, they have redone all the packaging so much so it has destroyed the sandwiches. No sides and they cannot get an order right. I went early season so it wasn’t open for dinner because they were slow so you would think they could get your order right NO.

Order a poutine with brisket, no brisket and they not make the poutine with big russet potatoes not cut just full size maybe cut in half like what?

Ordered my lunch with a side salad. Does salad sound like poutine? NO so why did you charge me for a poutine when I asked for a salad and hey maybe not stiff your salad into a container made for soup.

There is no standards, no consistency and they completely changed the way they are doing things so bad that I don’t ever want to eat here again. I left Whistler being portobello used to be something I used to plan my entire vacation around now after being closed at night offering half ass food and not being able to make my order I don’t want to waste my time ordering from you.

A popular favourite near the Fairmont hotel. Good good. Good service and nice, clean place with beautiful decor. Great place to come for a drink and appies, have a meal or coffee and dessert. Something for everyone. There’s a little shopping area as well. A little pricy but it’s Whistler/Fairmont🤷‍♀️

Unorganized service. Got the wrong order given to us. Portion sizes were completely different even though me and my dad got the same thing. The food was just ok. Not entirely sure what the thought process is with the whole buzzer service thing but it doesn’t work at all when it’s busy. Won’t be coming back. Got probably 10 dollars worth of food and my bowl was 19. They also didn’t include the biscuits which they say comes with every bowl. Figure it out!

I ordered a breakfast bowl and everything in it was cold (bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes) so ask for it to be heated up.

The porchetta sandwiches, and the portobello hot dog were both very good. And the amount of meat on it was very generous , and it comes with a small coleslaw.and.a.whole pickle. Definitely will try the other sandwich next time when I come. Their pastries and donut looks amazing too. But we were too full to try. Although it is not.a table service restaurant, but there were amble number of comfortable table and chairs for.u to.enjoy the.meal.

While visiting Upper Whistler this weekend, we saw the deli/restaurant as we walked by it and did a takeout there. We both ordered the porchetta meals. This included veggies, a large biscuit, various sauces. It was a large portion and didn’t quite finish our meals. Planning on returning the next time we visit.

Beautiful Italian cafe nestled in Blackcomb offering sumptuous food and delicious coffee. The service is something that can be worked on - staff being more welcoming and order being made efficiently.
