We have driven by this restaurant numerous times over the 20 years that we've been coming here but never had an opportunity to stop in. The experience did not disappoint. Among us, we had the lamb, sablefish and venison - all done to perfection. The wine list is almost too much to get through in the time available. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The only caveat is that the prices were really steep. But if you have a special occasion and the budget for it, this place is a good choice.

We have dined at Rimrock many times over the years and always have a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu has many delicious sounding items from which to choose. My husband enjoyed the wedge salad while I enjoyed the shrimp and prawns cocktail salad. We both ordered the sablefish which was very good. The Sticky Toffee Pudding is not to be missed if one is still hungry for dessert.

We loved our dinner and the entire experience. Everyone was so welcoming. The blue cheese salad was amazing, as was the prime rib eye. Drinks were delicious. Kids menu was impressive as well. We will definitely be back.

I knew the waiter was going to recommend the lamb, but I still asked It came medium rare We had the same problem in Portland on NYE, then it dawned on me. The chops were very fatty. If you cooked them to the desired consistency they would disappear. I should have gone with the duck

Food was inconsistent - some great and some “meh”. Service at a high top in the bar was great until the bartender's drunk friends showed up and sat next to us. There was also a mysterious $240 charge added to the bill when they went to scan my card. Mistake perhaps but at that point it didn't matter.
