Too expensive for fairly mundane food. Owner refused to accept gift certificate even when shown the visa receipt. A true rip off expert! Go farther to Nita Lake Hotel for excellent food atmosphere and value. Not some mediocre hole in the wall.

Love love love the Turkey Club (get it with salad), nice traditional sports pub. A favourite with Whistler locals. Great food and value for Whistler. Nice outdoor patio in the summer. Friendly service.Parking: Parking in front is usually available but around the corner there is street parking (after 5 pm).Kid-friendliness: It is a pub, but plenty of kids with families during dinner hours and brunch on Sunday!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.

What a great vibe. Discovered this place when looking for a cold beer and wine store 10 mins to 11. Noticed the bar, saw it was busy with regulars. A gem. Can’t wait to go back!! Gail was a very friendly bartender too!

Our server was Rory and he was lovely, kind, helpful and professional - he made us all feel welcome. When we arrived I had ask Rory where my husband could park as the front lot was full and he was outside circling around. Rory said he doesn’t drive, said he was new, but asked Katie, another server, and her response was “go park in the underground, and mentioned some abbreviation for I believe a hotel on the side of the pub. I said oh sorry, first time here, what is the name of the place please, so I could go and let my hubby know where we could park our car in the underground, and Katie yells at me and talks really slowly and condescending to me like I am mentally challenged, saying it doesn’t matter what the name of the place is, it’s over there and she points, she was extremely rude, other customers in the pub and our friends were appalled at her rudeness and the way she talked down to me (other customers actually commented to us on her treatment after she walked away), and this is the way Katie trains new employees? Shows them to disrespect the customers? Poor Rory didn’t say anything, but we could all tell he felt very uncomfortable with the way she spoke to me. Katie is obnoxiously loud and rude, she was all we could hear the whole time we were there, she honestly ruins the atmosphere of the pub and in fact we had to keep repeating ourselves during our conversation because she is just so loud, we couldn’t hear each other speak. We all know pubs can be loud, but she was even louder than the music and the other customers, combined. All the other servers we so professional, kind and respectful, and spoke in a normal level. Katie should try and learn from her coworkers. Frankly our time was ruined by her loudness and rudeness. We also witnessed Katie speaking to an older gentleman, he asked her a question about the menu, he had a smile on his face when he asked, and Katie yelled back at him “well I can’t read the menu upside down, how would I know!!” And she walked away from the man …. We watched as the man’s face turned into disappointment and sadness. Another couple were sitting up at the bar and Katie smacked one of them on the arm (in a joking manner) and as she was walking away, they said something to her, and they had a look of dismay on their faces, upset she had touched them, and she said “oh, I was only joking” …. Not everybody likes to be touched and clearly not everybody appreciates Katie’s loud intrusive personality. Sadly, this pub is losing customers due to one employee. Whistler is a small community and the friends that we were with live and work here and this was their first introduction to this pub. Our service and treatment by Rory and the other staff was excellent and the food was great, we all really enjoyed our meal. We will go back to this pub, but only on Katie’s days off Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We were greeted and seated promptly on the attractive veranda. The waitress was garrulous and friendly and the food was nice. I had the pub fish and chips and my husband had the Reuben sandwich.

Cool, local feel, child friendly, sports bar with very nice food and a decent selection of drinks. Rachel served us twice and was lovely, taking an interest and talking to our son.Chicken wings - excellent.Cheese burger - excellent.Salmon burger - excellent.Grilled cheese - thumbs up from the boy.Pulled pork quesadillas - decent.Fries - nice, but not my favourite of the trip.Overall though, it was good enough to go twice in a week and take our friends, which should say plenty.Vegetarian options: Not many to be honest. Thankfully we’re flexible.Kid-friendliness: Small kids menu, so fussy eaters beware. Super child friendly in all other regards though.

Unfortunately Rolands served up the worst fish and chips to my friend and after sending back twice, first time uncooked and second time rubbery they still charged him. The waitress was very rude about it all . This is very disappointing as it happened some years back and had only recently redeemed itself in my view, now we’re at that stage again. The neighbourhood pub is not what it used to be! Remember Hoz’s?

Worst fish & chips ever! Sent back twice still not edible, left hungry and still had to pay! Nita lake lodge is next door and food and service is much better
