Ridiculous and robust system on SECOND FLOOR, took me 5 mins for burger and waited 15 for a bowl of chili, by the time I get to eat, the burger is cold as ice, not too mention everything overpriced and slow, that's why it's so crowded , should set up a vending machine to sell tickets like Japan. Can't believed they even add gratitude as an option? While they are already under staff

If you’ve skied in Europe you’ll be shocked at how poor the value and quality are. $30 for a dry burger and beer with a 15min queue. The problem with

Usually a long wait for a poor product, feel like they charge a lot because you have no other alternative and feel taken advantage of. Needs better 'service' to the mountain

Just can't get behind a frozen burger at 25$ without fries. Lodge is nice enough.

You've never experienced anything so crowded. In addition, you don't even get to buy a beer because the foreigner is asked strange questions with his broken English. I can't put beer plus any kind of policy into any useful context.Sorry, Europeans are used to more freedom. Never again a ski area like this

Turkish belowI was dissapointed because the "Epic Burger" was not what it used to be few years back. The other food selections were fine but nothing to remember for the next ski season. Service was good.I couldn't forget a burger they called "Epic Burger". But this time it wasn't good and I was disappointed. It was like this in other dishes. The service was fast.

Now I'm a boring Individual who kept it simple food wise. Ate here at least 7 times while I stayed. Food is...acceptably priced for where it is I guess. Quality is OK, view's are stunning. So does the job.

Honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life. It was a huge cluster, with thousands of people. You need to wait in a 40 person line just to get chicken fingers, and another 40 person line to pay. The chicken fingers are absolutely abysmal and taste like fish sticks. My friends got the ramen (separate vendor) and said it was awful too. They didn’t even have condiments for the chicken fingers. It was an awful, awful experience. This place was hell on earth and I hated every moment I was here. I just would highly advise anyone to take the 40 minute round trip gondola to the village to get a decent meal instead of going here.

$20 for a Roundhouse Thai Bowl, in my case $20 for 1/4 of a Thai Bowl. You can literally count the rice grains it’s that small. I’ve lived here for more than 10 years and am so disappointed with the consistent drop in food quality, shrinking portion sizes, along with the ridiculous price increases at Vails Roundhouse. This is a year after year ongoing thing. Under the WB umbrella the food was great and costs were reasonable. The cost for this “bowl” and what you get for that is embarrassing, Vail, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Furthermore over on Blackcomb, at the Rendezvous, the Thai Bowl is full, is the same price, and is twice the quality. This is clearly a cash grab by Vail to take advantage of Whistler visitors. They know that the majority of those visitors will predominantly go up Whistler Mountain and most likely eat there. Vails mantra is to rip them off as the visitors won’t know any better. Second picture below is a stock image of Rendezvous’s Thai Bowl but it is 100% exact and consistent with my Thai bowl ordered at the Rendezvous on Blackcomb last weekend.

Saturday Morning Rush in the downstairs Cafe with about 30 people in line and Employees, Sara and William, are having a personal conversation at the register while people are waiting to be helped. Sara said jokingly to William 'I have customers to serve' while they proceeded to laugh and look at pictures on his cell phone.

Pleasantly surprised. I had some time to kill so I went to the food court. They have “happy hour” 14:00-14:30 (while supplies last) a foot long hot dog on a baguette, with a soda, for about $7. Decent deal for a mountain lodge.

Pretty sad options for vegan food. I got a vegetarian chili and they left out the cheese, sour cream AND bread to make it vegan, at which point it was just overpriced bean soup and not a very filling one at that. It's disappointing that they do not use dairy-free bread - that has to be the EASIEST naturally vegan item - or offer a substitute (maybe some fries instead?).I don't enjoy going hungry on the slopes, so I just bring my own food now.On the other hand, the staff was at least knowledgeable about the ingredients, and the lodge does provide a good ambiance in general.Dietary restrictions: The staff was knowledgeable about the ingredients and potential allergens.

Summary: Don't waste your money eating here. The food is very poor. Just ski down to town and get something much nicer for the same price. I had a Thai green curry from one of the food hall kiosks. Nobody who works there has clearly ever been to Thailand, or even been to a Thai restaurant, or even read a Thai cookbook, or even looked where Thailand is on a map. The food I got was just weird. The sauce was the consistency of Béchamel and tasted nothing like Thai curry. The base ingredients were also poor. The chicken was pre-grilled and then the sauce was just poured on top. I should have seen this coming to be fair. When I was in the queue I noticed that they were using the same base (rice, grilled chicken and sweet potato) and just pouring either Thai green sauce or Masala sauce on top of it - depending on what you ordered. If a Thai person ever goes there they'll probably immediately get on the Peak-2-Peak Gondola and throw themselves off.

The restaurant has a splendid view. Expect the food to be overpriced as you are on the top of a resort mountain.
