The seaweed salad was a disappointment, but the rolls and nigiri were good.

Every time I travel from the states I always make it a point to visit when I go, the sushi chef really takes pride in his work, waitress was awesome, food and sake were delicious.

This used to be really good , the service sucked . Waiter dropped off our jumbo sake quickly and left then remembered it needed a pour spout . Never offered to pour for us . When I mentioned it he challenged me and said that's only for wine and he had served fine dining . And when the bottle was empty we had to ask for more . A good server would have poured for us and made sure we didn't run out . And he should have had a napkin for the wet hot bottle .
The gyoza got sent back and was just as bad the next serving .
When the sushi rolls came some were clearly not cut and had to be sent back . The server challenged us again say the rice was sticky . The rolls were not even separated and looked thrown down .
For top shelf prices we got bottom a bottom level experience
What happened to this place ? It used to be really good
We spent 100'smof $$$$
Well Whistler has a few other sushi places that will get our business next time .

Get a maki roll with the scallop. It was sweet and delicious. I had the House Roll and it was delicious. The salmon was a nice deep red colour on the Hola roll too. That’s rare for me (coming from Ontario, where the salmon is usually a washed out pink colour.)

I wish it was open longer hours; I would have gone back again during my visit to Whistler.

All sashimi and sushi were excellent. Top quality, the fish and rice were so good! Best sushi I've had in a long time, the waiter Steve was also very nice and offered excellent service.
Highly recommend!

Food was delish, especially the Hako roll. I found its flavor profile quite unique with the tiny slice of lemon adding a fresh twist. The service was also top notch. My only critique is the portion to price ratio.

Sachi Sushi

As a person with a dedicated sushi addiction and has eaten at every sushi place in Whistler this is the #1 spot.

I’d start off by saying I’ve eaten at every sushi place in town roughly 5+ times some 20+ times and a few 50+ times.

Best service, you’re always greeted with a warm smile, timely service, great knowledge and very informative servers.

The vibes are right and the open sushi counter makes for a perfect viewing of techniques and skills displayed by the chefs.

The freshness of the fish, the quality, and the way they prep it is by far the highest standards in Whistler.

Sushi rice is always consistent which is a great sign for any sushi place.

The price on some things are a bit high but once again all the factors listed above make it worth it.

I always get the 10 piece omakase which is always different and makes in an excellent treat. Favourite bite being the sweet sweet Ebi(drool worthy).

Other than that you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. 9.8/10 if I’m comparing it to local competition.

The waiter here was incredibly helpful with our celiac sensitive friend. He guided us through the menu and helped us decide among many options. Food came quickly and was excellent cuts of fish

The food tasted good but the portions were small so it makes the overall meal a little expensive for a casual looking restaurant. It’s popular so be prepared to wait during busy times. The service was OK.
