Great casual eats. Yummy pancakes. Blueberry syrup taste like pie filling! Sausage and bacon tasted quality. Kids loved it. Service was accurate and friendly and the server even asked if we wanted a pictire on the chairlifts in front of the diner. Definitely would return 😊

What an adorable classic style diner. Our server was great and got us in and out quickly, as we had an appointment to catch. food was very good - I had the bacon benny and my husband whatever the monster plate is called that has just about every breakfast food on it. We will definitely return here.

Southside slam. Perfect diner breakfast. Great small diner vibes. Very reasonably priced for the location.

As someone who has a variety food allergies, Southside Diner is a great place to eat. The server was super helpful, and made sure our meal was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!

The pancakes were super fluffy, the french toast was perfect, the sausages were great, the bacon was very nice if you like it crispy ask for it that way. The pan fries have a nice cajun seasoning on them. The scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy. The orange juice tasted very fresh. The sourdough was buttered perfectly. A great restaurant I definitely recommend.

LOCALS ONLY attitude. If you're a visitor they don't want you there. Went in for the first time in 10 years (when they had fruit flies in the middle of winter) hoping it had improved. Got gouged $5 for a cup of 4 hour old coffee, then kitchen staff poured seasoning salt on home fries making them inedible. Attitude from serving staff for not knowing their customs.

I’ve been here 3 previous times over the last 2 years. Previous visits were great. Today was not good.
* potatoes tasted like that had been cooked yesterday and reheated in a microwave.
* French toast had no spices, crisp, nor egginess
* Bacon was low very quality and seemed overly uniform and strange.
* Lox bagel was very stingy on quantity
Very disappointing and I hope it was a fluke and they return to their former glory.

Gluten free buns and bread! Try to come before 11am or after 2pm to avoid the line, but worth the wait. Chai latte was delicious. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with a GF bun.
Fries unfortunately are in the same fryer so substituted salad.
My partner who is non GF had the eggs and bacon and pancakes which are always a favourite and fluffy deliciousness.
Nice diner, beware of the server up selling you on a bizzare chorizo inedible patty without telling you it's an additional $8.50.
We ordered breakfast at Southside Diner and overall the food was really good. The sausages were tasty, the pancakes were killer — fluffy and packed with flavor, and the blueberry jam was light, sweet, and super fresh.
It is a little on the expensive side, but the food quality shows — everything tasted fresh and well-made.
We also tried the Southside Special Breakfast which came with 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, and 2 pancakes, but it did not include toast, which was surprising for a breakfast meal priced at $26+. For the price, a side of toast would have made it feel more complete.
Despite that, the portions were filling and the overall experience was good. If you’re craving a solid breakfast in Whistler, it’s worth a try, and we’d still come back! 🥞🔥

Best hamburger I've had in a very long time!!
This is must try place if you're ever in the Whistler area. The food is fresh, and well prepared, and my server Kate, was friendly and very attentive.
I would highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for good quality fresh food, and excellent service.

Nice diner, but the breakfast offerings don’t justify the price. The 2 bacon strips were narrow & paper-thin, the limp potatoes lacked seasoning, and the coffee was average. For what’s being served, all breakfast dishes over $15 is overpriced.
We've been here twice now, and both times the breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend this local cafe.
