I’ve been here 3 previous times over the last 2 years. Previous visits were great. Today was not good.

* potatoes tasted like that had been cooked yesterday and reheated in a microwave.
* French toast had no spices, crisp, nor egginess
* Bacon was low very quality and seemed overly uniform and strange.
* Lox bagel was very stingy on quantity

Very disappointing and I hope it was a fluke and they return to their former glory.

Gluten free buns and bread! Try to come before 11am or after 2pm to avoid the line, but worth the wait. Chai latte was delicious. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with a GF bun.
Fries unfortunately are in the same fryer so substituted salad.

My partner who is non GF had the eggs and bacon and pancakes which are always a favourite and fluffy deliciousness.

Nice diner, beware of the server up selling you on a bizzare chorizo inedible patty without telling you it's an additional $8.50.

We ordered breakfast at Southside Diner and overall the food was really good. The sausages were tasty, the pancakes were killer — fluffy and packed with flavor, and the blueberry jam was light, sweet, and super fresh.

It is a little on the expensive side, but the food quality shows — everything tasted fresh and well-made.

We also tried the Southside Special Breakfast which came with 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, and 2 pancakes, but it did not include toast, which was surprising for a breakfast meal priced at $26+. For the price, a side of toast would have made it feel more complete.

Despite that, the portions were filling and the overall experience was good. If you’re craving a solid breakfast in Whistler, it’s worth a try, and we’d still come back! 🥞🔥

This is must try place if you're ever in the Whistler area. The food is fresh, and well prepared, and my server Kate, was friendly and very attentive.
I would highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for good quality fresh food, and excellent service.

Nice diner, but the breakfast offerings don’t justify the price. The 2 bacon strips were narrow & paper-thin, the limp potatoes lacked seasoning, and the coffee was average. For what’s being served, all breakfast dishes over $15 is overpriced.

We've been here twice now, and both times the breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend this local cafe.

Food was great, flavourful breakfast, not greasy whatsoever so won’t feel like being stuck in a food coma at all, service was great.
Love the theme of the diner also.

The food is okay. They have a shortage of servers so the waitress was cranky. The music was loud and annoying. Coffee is not great.
