Had a really great experience here on the 25th, food was fantastic and views from the restaurant sublime. Particularly grateful for the host (Louis) who was super friendly and accommodated our family even without a booking; he made us feel so welcome and made the experience all the more special. Highly recommended.

We came for my husband's birthday on a busy holiday, and I wanted to say publicly how wonderful and thoughtful the service was. A special thanks to Louis, he arranged for a perfect table and when we were mildly inconvenienced he went out of his way to accommodate us and his thoughtfulness made our visit way more enjoyable than it would have been! I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and he sent a dessert to our table and honestly, he made our ordinary lunch a special celebration and I can't thank him enough. Thoughtful service isn't always provided these days, and especially in our busy town. Our food was excellent and the service was prompt, thanks to the Steeps staff and especially Louis!

Update: we had such an amazing meal that we went back a second time and it was even better than the first. We had the rigatoni carbonara, short rib and a pavlova for dessert. Everything was AMAZING!!! And the service is friendly, professional, welcoming. The servers made our time there feel special. It's 100 times better than Chistine's!!!Amazing restaurant, we had a falafel bowl and the rockfish green curry and it was delicious! Highly recommend

Beautiful and tasty spot for an elevated lunch on the mountain. Reservation highly recommended. Bahn mi sandwich was delightful, as was charcuterie. Service was great!

Terrible and rude staff! We were in a large group, we had reservations, and we asked to be seating on adjacent tables. The staff was adamant that it was impossible, however, there were several empty tables in the restaurant. There was no empathy for the fact that it was a group event (8 people) and they could easily solve the question. Honestly, it was extremely disapointing. Food is not that good, cutlery and glasses not even washed properly. Do yourself a favor and head to christines on blackcomb.

Just spent the last week in Whistler, where is snow conditions were marginal at best. I was looking for a spot to take a break from the slops and popped into the lodge on the Whistler side outside the Peak-2-Peak gondola. As most lodges are, as soon as you walk in you are overwhelmed with people and noise and getting a seat to enjoy your meal can be pretty cutthroat. After walking in and climbing the stairs, I turned around to see a wall of glass and tables with white table clothes. Decided to give it a go to see if I could snag a spot at the bar. It was my lucky day! I was cold and starving so I decided to try some comfort food. Poutine was the perfect meal to warm me up from the inside out. Definitely the best poutine I had all week... honestly, I wish I had discovered it a few days earlier, though my ski pants are probably thanking me. The bartender was friendly and the beer was cold. There was a small selection of local brews and a full bar. The only negative was that, my boyfriend showed up 30 minutes after and the bar was full. He wasn't even allowed into the restaurant to chat with me and had to do some crazy dance moves by reception to get my attention.

Great place if you want to avoid the crowd of the cafeteria.Be warned, even though most of the staff is British, I had the worst poured Guinness of all time.20$ Caesar’s were great though

Restaurant is on the mountain. Misleading information on the maps.

My husband and I decided on Steep’s over Christine’s as the menu seemed a little more “approachable” and more our speed. My husband had the meat sandwich, basically a Rueben, and said it was really good. I ordered the appetizer meatballs as my main with a half a basket of bread (not advertised but you can do it) and it was delicious with the mix of arugula, pine nuts, and the homemade meatballs… I cleaned my plate which is saying a lot! Our waitress was ver friendly and took the time to explain different dishes and to bring us a little complimentary bite from the chef which was phenomenal. The food is a little more expensive than the food court that surrounds it but it’s well worth it for the quality of the food, the service, and as a little escape from the crowded masses. (We left our teens to eat in the food court while my husband and I enjoyed this restaurant in peace, lol!) We would eat here again.

This place is not in the village as their address implies. It’s on the mountain

Went here during winter and skii season where the cafetaria is really full of people so we decided to eat at Steep's instead. It didn't dissapoint at all! We ordered the tomato soup with grilled cheese, the ribs and the banh mi. All three tasted good. Price was still ok considering this restaurant is located at the peak of Whistler.

My husband and I were excited to have lunch on the mountain a couple days ago, but we were very quickly disappointed. It took at least 10 minutes for anyone to come greet us and bring us water. From there a server took our order. I hesitated ordering our lunch at the same time as drinks, because it’s a pet peeve of mine to get food before drinks. But we didn’t know when she would be back, so we ordered. Sure enough about 15 minutes later our lunch arrived and I had to ask for my wine. Horrible restaurant mistake!! The food was okay, but the service remained awful. I had to get up to go ask someone to print out bill. Limited menu, over priced, poor service, poor service system, ok food… we will not be rushing back to Steeps.
