Atmosphere - It was very good. You can see the chef performs while he cooks. My kids never have Teppanyaki before so it is an eye-opener for them. The chef performance was good but the cooking duration was relatively short compared to the Teppanyaki I had somewhere else before. Another thing I didn’t like is the dining duration - once most of the people at your table left, you will feel the pressure to leave in order for the restaurant to serve the next batch of customers.

Food - this is the most disappointing part. This ingredients quality was mediocre and the chef didn’t cook it right. Our New York steak and tenderloins were overcooked. Teriyaki chicken taste ok but the sauce was lacking the sweetness taste. Lobster tails was not fresh and mushy. Scallops were missing the umami flavour. In addition, maybe the chef want to show off how the salt are added to the food, almost all dishes we had were on the salty side, especially the mix vegetables served at the end. The only better food we had at that night were the prawns.

Another complaint for the night was the fried rice - we paid extra to upgrade it from regular rice and we expected the chef would fry the rice in front of us. Disappointingly we were getting a few bowls of lukewarm, pre-cooked fried rice. The fried rice taste okay - if you like strong garlic flavour like us, but they were way too oily.

Personally, I would rank the taste of the food more important than service and atmosphere, especially in that price range. Very unlikely I would visit it again.

Sasha provided outstanding service during our visit! Attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to our needs. He made sure we had everything we needed and added a personal touch that made our dining experience even better. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!

Service was excellent, the waitstaff was amazing and the chef was charming. While the food was good, portions are small and they fill you up with bean sprouts and vegetables instead of your order. There is an extra charge for fried rice, but rather than fry it in front of you they cook it inside the kitchen.

We tried Teppan Village and probably won't return. Like other reviewers mentioned, you're here for the show, not necessarily the food. Our chef was pleasant, but he wasn't that engaging. Behind him was another chef who was more talkative and interactive.

Plus, we watched all the moves being performed on other tables, so we weren't really amazed by our presentation. All the chefs built an onion volcano, catapult a lemon into the air and then light the food on fire with bourbon and a match. Besides that, it was underwhelming and the food was alright. $60+ for one teppanyaki combo was pretty pricey.

Very average. It was really expensive for the value that we got. The service was pretty average, the food was ok but not worth the cost. The chef did a good job but not enough to offset the cost vs value we received.

I recently went for my birthday dinner, and it was a good experience. The chefs were entertaining, and the food was both delicious and healthy. The portions are moderate, if you are hungry you may need some starters. Overall, we enjoyed the dinner, and the thoughtful gesture of a small birthday treat made the evening even more special.

Very disappointed! Place was a ghost town, we were the only ones seated at the table which made the whole dining experience boring. The food was delicious but The portions were very small, I've eaten at these types of restaurants all over North America and there's usually double the amount of food plus at the end of the meal you receive tea and dessert, but not it this place! The most disappointing part was that we had to give a credit card in order to book on OpenTable with a $25 fee charged per person if we were A no-show. That is an option that the restaurant chose as I have been using OpenTable for years and I don't agree with having to do that.

Great experience. Nice low lighting and chill vibe to along with the experience of your cook making the meal right in front of you. Super good vibes and delicious. On the pricey end.

Nice Teppan Yaki, tasty and efficient. I don’t like goofy chefs that play with my food.
