This is a perfect relaxed friendly wonderful small bar amidst all the noisy large shi shi crazy expensive bars so prevalent in Whistler. Staff is friendly and knows their craft. Dedication to BC products. Highly recommended.

It's Whistler's coziest & most friendly pub. There is simply no other place in Whistler that I would rather have a beer at. BYOFF = Bring Your Own Food Friendly. The short & chubby meat sticks rule. 😂

The Fitz pub is iconic. Great craft beers and equally great craft cocktails. They don’t have coors light on tap.. they only serve fresh BC local brews, and rotate their taps every time a keg is empty. That said they’re careful to balance the available options. There’s almost always an IPA, a lager, a sour and so on. They even carry great locally brewed Non-alcoholic options which is important too. It’s the place to be if you’re looking for a local feel. The regular patrons are mostly ski instructors and hospitality professionals who are eager to chat and share their knowledge of the town and attractions. A friendly and inviting atmosphere always. It’s an excellent place to get aprés ski drinks or before and after whatever it is you’ve been enjoying in Whistler. They are a genuine pub and don’t have a kitchen, however the bar snacks are not to be missed. From locally produced pepperoni sticks and beef jerky to popcorn and candy they’ve got something for all types of hankerings. The staff are people who you’ll make friends with immediately. People who genuinely care about and want to enrich your experience. It’s a great place to meet people who are genuinely passionate about the town and everything that it has to offer.
If you end up visiting, please save a seat for me.

Great straight forward bar with quality beers.
Drink, chat, enjoy. Way cheaper than the main village! Stroll!

Fine for a beer
Great little spot for light snacks and a laid back beer. Hard to find a good bar that excels at "just" being a bar, but this is it. Thanks Fitz Pub!

Bartender knew what we has doing. That's not too common BTW. Had a whisky sour and margarita. Both were top notch. Well balanced and made with mid range booze. Great place to stop if you looking for a good drink with your spouse like I was.

Simply most down to earth walk in as a stranger feel like a local bar. Or rather a pub. Everyone was so down to earth loved the vibe… on the right night at the right time this place is probably absolutely bumping right across from the Fairmont, it’s a tight spot.

Walked in seemed like a local place for local people which isn't a problem. Walked up to the bar and asked the bartender for a taster of the pilsner, as I wanted to try before I buy. She poured the pint immediately, I said "I'm sorry I just wanted to try a taster before I ordered the pint" to which her reply was "I'm sure it tastes just fine" seemed like an okay place let down by a woman who clearly doesn't want to be in a customer facing role.

The worst lager I’ve ever tasted - the smoked? InsaneAlso the shortest customer service received in Whistler. Thanks for telling me your lagers are bad.. You don’t deserve a tip. Try being nice or friendly to customers?
Brought a customer into the pub for a Caesar as I heard, they were phenomenal here. We waited at the bar for 10 minutes at least before I looked over and saw the serve sign over the bar far right side. My bad, however the bartender could’ve mentioned it. Then after waiting in line for a 5 minutes , which is fine, my turn arrived…she ditched me and proceeded to go to the people who sat down after next to us at the bar and served them directly?? Looking at the interaction, obviously she knew them. However, now I’m at 20 minutes waiting for a drink. There are 20 people in the bar. OK, I’m not stressed about time. I’m looking forward to our drinks.I finally ordered drinks and when we got the Caesars, we were so disappointed. For the cost, they were not loaded like we were told they would be . there was an olive on a toothpick thrown in the drink. That was it. They tasted OK but not phenomenal by any meansThe customer I had brought there Commented about the service and the drink being both subpar. As a 25 year Local, I was a little embarrassed.Bartender was nice enough. She just was not on her game that day it seems.
